No Audio
The audio option in the app seems to have disappeared. Please can you restore it?
No Longer a Free App
I have been blessed by this application. Used it for years. I’m a member of the Anglican Church of America, Diocese of Fort Worth. I just became aware that starting 16 March, I will have to pay a $4 / year subscription. I am a retired US Naval Submarine Officer on a fixed pension. A Cold War veteran, I commanded one of the US Navy’s nuclear boats for 3 years. Now, I cannot afford to pay for a subscription and I will not use this application after 03/15/26. I would submit the opinion that were it not for US and UK submariners, we’d be speaking Russian. Farewell, most excellent app! Farewell, Church of England! I have noticed that there have been very few reviews on this app. Perhaps it is no longer of value to the masses.

Daily prayer updates
I have purchased this and the Sunday worship but it will not load because the message says I need an update on my iPad and tells me to download an earlier version....but no joy however far I go back. Admittedly I am technically a cave man.
Love it, but one feature request
Thank you for this app. It’s super helpful. Would it be possible to add a setting where the psalms and scripture readings only give the reference but blends out the text? This way it is easy to see where the readings are, but I could read from my own physical Bible while having everything else in a compact form?

Issue with restart
The developer must look at the issue of the service restarting when it is momentarily paused or if another app is opened
Update
Can’t update and although the message is that one can continue using the old app nothing happens. At 88 I don’t want to get another iPad , so am deprived of using the iPad for prayer...so back to the printed prayer book , something that is reliable.
Would be better if OT passages were used.
Over all it’s a good app but would be better if it stuck to Old Testament readings not the wisdom literature so that it would be accessible and relevant to all denominations. I could certainly recommend it more freely to others if this was the case.
Bugs
Please fix the bug that makes it returN to the beginning if you leave the app, or let your device sleep.
Latest update two bugs
1. Scrolling - sometimes refuses to scroll. You can drag it down a bit and it jitters and bounces back.
2. Switching the app for another takes you back to the start of the office. This means that you can’t set up a reading, switch off the phone, and return to the reading by opening the phone.
The scrolling issue makes it unreliable.
The reset to the beginning issue on awakening from sleep means you can’t use it for the readings in a communal setting.

Will no longer work on older iPads?
My iPad runs iOS12.5.7, which is the latest it can run.I have been happily using DailyPrayer for a number of years, but the latest update has left me with a blank screen. The update needs iOS 15.6... but a message tells me to update DailyPrayer to the latest compatible version via the AppStore. When I try that I get a Download button, but tapping it does nothing but reappear. Does this mean that I can no longer use Daily Prayer?

App frozen
App won’t scroll which is very frustrating and without tech support unhelpful. Deleted. Rebooted. Reinstalled. Still won’t scroll.
Wrong date
I love this app it inspires me every day - lately it has stopped working and has the wrong date (eg 10/12 evening is 20/12) please rectify
Using with another Bible app
Every time I go away from it to a Bible text and come back, today’s prayer flips back to the beginning and I have to scroll down to my place again and again.
Good app, but be consistent please.
The all is good, it’s great to have the daily office in your pocket. BUT please please can you have audio versions of the BCP office as well as Common Worship? It’s unfortunate for those of us that prefer the traditional liturgy, because it’d be great for us too to be able listen and read.
Gorgeous Canticle
I heard the Song of God’s Herald sung this morning and just wanted to say what a glorious sound. Beautifully sung, well balanced and very moving. Thank you to all the singers who contribute to the Daily Prayer app. It can really enhance the morning prayer experience.

The app is marvellous I use it on the way to work and back. However there are still many instances of the audio cutting out or no audio at all. Please fix it properly

Good app, but it’d be great to have an audio version for night prayer.
Beautiful scripture, prayers and hymns
The beauty of the music is one of my favorite parts of this app. The choir and singers are excellent. However, after the last update I can’t see an audio player anymore! I hope this is temporary??
What Happened?
I used to love this app when there was audio recitations of the Daily Office (with beautifully sung prayers). Now all there is, is the written text!
