FAQ
How does Daily Report use AI?
Daily Report uses AI to automatically sort spoken or typed information into the correct sections of a construction daily report. It offers both cloud-based AI for maximum accuracy and on-device AI for offline use on compatible devices.
Can I use Daily Report without an internet connection?
Yes, the app is designed for field use and works offline. On-device AI takes over when there's no signal, and you can always fill out sections by hand.
How does Daily Report ensure report integrity?
Each finished PDF receives a tamper-evidence fingerprint, and a signature is required to complete the report. Date, time, and GPS status are stamped, and the AI will not invent data not provided by the user.
What happens if I find a mistake after signing a report?
You can edit the report, and your correction will be saved as a new version. The original signed report remains preserved exactly as it was, ensuring a clear audit trail.
Does Daily Report have ads?
No, Daily Report is ad-free. The app is provided for free by Construction Copilot and does not contain advertisements or tracking.
Is my voice data kept private?
Yes, your voice recordings stay on your phone. When using Cloud AI, only the report text is sent for organization and then returned to your device. You can also switch to an 'On-device' mode for complete local processing.
What devices does Daily Report support?
Currently, Daily Report is supported on iPhones. The on-device AI feature requires iPhone 15 Pro or newer with Apple Intelligence.
How often is Daily Report updated?
The latest version, 1.2, was released on September 26, 2026, indicating regular updates. The app was initially released on June 11, 2026.
