Daily Rotation – Audio

A big under-the-hood release: playback that stays honest, downloads that stay correct, and a faster app. • Playback recovers on its own after iOS resets audio — no more "playing" with no sound until you restart the app • Pulling your headphones out now pauses the app properly, and the Lock Screen shows the right state • Changing speed in Settings applies right away, even mid-episode • A failed download is reported as failed — it can't be saved as a broken file any more • Browsing a show in Discover or Search no longer adds it to your feeds; only Subscribe does • Switching between Podcasts, Playlist and Shelf is instant — nothing reloads • AudiobookShelf: new episodes show up without relaunching, your login is stored in the Keychain, an expired session asks you to sign in again, and a new "Resume from server position" setting controls whether the server's bookmark can move you forward • New "Auto-download on Wi-Fi only" setting; the daily sync also paces big backlogs • New "Lock Screen scrubbing" setting (off by default) — the Lock Screen bar shows your position without being draggable • Sharing an AudiobookShelf episode no longer includes your server credentials • Feeds with unusual date formats, HTML entities, or "&" in show names now parse and search correctly • VoiceOver: episode rows and the mini player are proper single controls; sliders and toggles are labeled • Now Playing fits smaller phones; books say "Chapters", not "Episodes" • Many smaller fixes: playlist long-press menu, "Mark as Unplayed" from a row, finished episodes leaving a stale bookmark, lock-screen artwork on fast skips, and more
