Not enough news
I tried the Star for a few weeks, but there's not enough news, not even on the front page in most editions. Now I'm reading the Mirror instead, I love it because it's a red top like the Star, but the Mirror has a good balance between news and entertainment.

Useless
Updating my one star review, it won’t let me add zero stars. It has now gone past having to delete and reinstall the app everyday, to now not being able to login at all. Does anyone actually maintain this app? Lack of any help and the app only appearing to get worse as the months go by is ridiculous.

Subscription still being paid but unable to log in
I purchased the app many years ago from the App Store but since the update I’ve not been able to log in. As suggested on the log in page I’ve contacted them and they have redirected me to you as the subscription is live and up to date so they can not help. Can you please confirm what I have to do to log in and access the newspaper as we’ve paid the subscription but have not been able to read the paper.

App is not working ,first day tried emailing but still no joy ,

The app works well enough, if only the Daily Star delivered the paper to it. It is often late and as I write this it is 12.30 pm and I am still waiting. I have contacted support twice to be told on both occasions “the pages are late coming in”.
Waste of money!!
Since the new phone update, the newspaper won’t download and unable to login despite being paid up!! It constantly kicks you out of the app and NO ONE from the tech team bothers to reply to messages. This is happening with ALL Hearst publications as I am subscribed to two other magazines which are also not downloading. PLEASE READ THIS AND EITHER REFUND OR FIX THE ISSUES!!!!

Had to cancel my subscriptions after 4+ years because the developer hasn’t updated the app to work with IOS11.4
