Not like before
I lost my previous Daily Light app which was awesome! No ads; free. No clutter or odd layouts.I had all my favorites, notes, etc. 😢
This one has a confusing format, clutter, too many ads
ALL which ruin devotion time.
I am hoping someone will bring back the previous one I had or one similar.

Today is Monday and you keep posting Sunday this is something you keep doing repeatedly you need to give somebody else the job of posting or Streams will lose its followers. The calendar is not working correctly in the app
Malicious ads
Devotions are great but got pop up ad that looked like Apple warning - always for malicious software
Streams in the Desert
This is a great app, however I have difficulty with the way it works daily. Sometimes it doesn’t change properly and I read the previous day’s devotions a second time. Today I couldn’t do anything. It brought the word for today, but wouldn’t bring up the morning’s prayer. And the ads are great, but sometimes won’t close properly.

The quote keeps freezing and then you can’t read anything. It does this every other day Fix it You need to fix the App every other day it freezes and you can’t read it. It doesn’t do any good to put it out there if it’s not going to

My daily devotion
Daily Streams has been my companion for over 30 years. Next to the Bible it has been a light and encourager through many a difficult trial. It is fresh every morning and reveals new depths with the Lord each year.
My morning go-to!
I found a copy of this book on my dads shelf many years ago before he passed away. What a blessing it has been to me! I have shared it with many friends. Finding it in digital form has been a blessing when I travel. I only wish I could find the version I have in printed form in digital form which is the one copyrighted 1997.

Streams in the Desert Review
Thank you for creating this app. I use this as my devotion nearly every morning. That said, this new update tends to lock up and freeze. When this happens I have to log completely out and start over. The three star review is for the app operation; otherwise, I give the content five stars.

I found this by searching for Stream in the Desert, but I love that it also has daily Spurgeon excerpts! And the prayers are lovely as well. Thank you for making this app!
Encouragement
Short poems and dialogue to encourage our walk with Jesus. It’s a sweet space away from social media scrolling.
Great Devotional Mediocre App
I have always loved Streams in the Desert, the Morning and Evening prayers and Charles Spurgeon’s writings. I just find the app a little clumsy to use and needs some tweaking - like the font color on the Israel picture descriptions. The font is too dark.
Seeing the Heart of God
I highly recommend this devotion to anyone who questions the goodness of God or ask the question why me. There is not one day that I have read this devotion and was not lifted up to the heavenly’s to see the love and care of my Father in heaven. If you are in a place of confusion, suffering pain or rejoicing, This is the devotion for you. May God richly bless you.

Best devotional app out there
Even thought is says Streams in the Desert it actually had a good sampling from other quotes and devotional.
I love Streams in the Desert
But the new version of the app I don’t. It’s so hard to get to where I can read the actual devotional for the day.
