About

DailySpend provides one number: what you can spend today. It takes what you have for the month, subtracts what's already spoken for, and divides the rest by the days. This is your daily amount. If you finish a day under it, the difference goes into your bank. Go over and tomorrow starts a little lower. No categories. No envelopes. No spreadsheets. One number is checked in a second. WHAT YOU GET - Today's amount, front and centre - A bank that grows every day you finish under - A month board — one square per day, green when you held, red when you didn't - Automatic logging when you tap to pay, through a Shortcut you set up once - Home screen widgets and a Control Centre button - Your own currency, wherever you are THE REWARD IS THE POINT Finish under, and the difference is yours. Banked, visible, and available whenever you want. Small savings every day become bigger savings over time — that is the whole idea. No streaks to break. No badges. No points. A heavy Saturday comes out of the bank, not from your motivation. A BAD MONTH DOESN'T FOLLOW YOU Go over and catch up gradually rather than all at once. Whatever is still owed at the end of the month is wiped. The first is a clean slate, every time. PRIVATE BY DEFAULT No analytics. No tracking. No advertising. No third-party code of any kind. What you spend stays on your device and in your own private iCloud — which means that even the developer cannot see it. There is no account to create and nothing to sign up for. Requires iOS 26.

What's New in DailySpend

1.1

October 15, 2026

Fall behind and DailySpend now makes a plan from your own habits, like three days without coffee, and reminds you each morning. When a month ends, see where your money went and pick up a simple goal for next month. Ask Siri: “Log a spend in DailySpend”, “What’s left today in DailySpend”, “Can I afford something in DailySpend” or “What’s my plan in DailySpend”. New first-week tips, Siri & widgets help in Settings, and Apple Pay logging offered from day one. Paying abroad? Apple Pay spends in another currency now ask what they cost in yours, instead of guessing. Plus a tidier calendar summary on Home and smoother amount typing. Fixes: reinstalling the app or setting up a new phone no longer resets your savings, and spending exactly your daily amount no longer counts as going over. ← suggested new line
