Great but subscription
Loved this app, easy to use and log milk. Was impressed with the auto calculator which tells you how much time your milk will last. After a few weeks of use I couldn’t add any more milk unless I subscribed which was frustrating as it had a few weeks of data. I subscribed due to this and not wanting to go through my deep freezer and start again.

Phenomenal - clearly made by someone who gets it
DairyBar is such a wonderful app - it is so easy to use, and it is clearly made by someone who understands what it’s like to pump and track your milk. I loved how easy it was to input milk, and to make adjustments in amounts used, where it’s stored, etc. It became part of my routine when bagging and freezing milk, and gave me so much more visibility into my stash. I also loved the “goal” feature that helped me figure out how much more milk I needed to stash to feed my baby until a certain date. The one time I had a technical issue, I submitted a bug report and heard back very quickly with a resolution.

Must have app!
I wish I had found this sooner!! I’m on my fourth exclusively pumping journey which is my second journey as an overproducer. I donate milk to a milk bank and this app has been a game changer! I created 3 separate “freezers” - 1 for milk for my baby, 1 for milk to donate, and 1 for bath milk. Now I can easily see how milk I have in the freezer for each category by viewing the stats. I highly recommend this app to anyone who is breastfeeding and/or pumping

I like the app but I wish I could had formula quantities to the pumping calculator. I’ve seen the option on other apps…
Could be better
Tracking collected milk is easy! Not so easy is tracking the milk that is then being used. I also wish the pumping calculator was more customizable
Best App Ever
This is my favorite app. It’s genius. It’s so handy, organized, ingenious, and user friendly. I’m super happy with it and don’t have any negative thing to say about it.

Don’t hesitate to download this app, super easy and simple to use - has saved us wasted lots of expressed milk with notifications when milk’s going out of date!
Not worth it
I love the intent of this app! It’s pretty well designed and it’s fun to easily see your average stash. Unfortunately, some glitches made it not worth it for me. Multiple times I was logged out and asked to relog in. However, when I tried to reset my password I never received an email. This meant I had to track on a separate note on my phone and update the app when it randomly started working again. I also found it difficult to remove milk from bricks. I’ve ended up just using a Google spreadsheet. I actually think it’s easier to track. It doesn’t show you the average amount stashed but I don’t actually think that’s helpful - probably anxiety inducing for some.

I wish you had reached out to me via support when having these issues, I'm pretty quick to respond and fix and issues with the app if you're experiencing glitches. I also would have loved to hear about your experience with removing milk from bricks. Bricks are a relatively new feature and I'm still adding new elements based on feedback from mamas. Love the app; please add this feature!!
App is amazing and great for keeping track of milk storage but as an oversupplier I’ll be donating to my local milk bank in Florida. It would be nice to have an option to move stored milk into a donated category. Other than that, get this app.
Amazing
For my first son I was guessing how much milk I had pumped. This time around I knew I needed a better system to keep track of my milk. I loved how easy it was to input, remove and overall keep track. My favorite feature was based off how much you inputted your child would drink in a day it says how many days of milk you have left. This put my mind at ease often. So sad my pumping journey is over and im donating my leftover milk. So thankful for this app.

The app is great! A couple bugs here and there but so does every app. When there is a bug, the developer addresses it quickly and gets back to you even quicker.

App keeps crashing when trying to import my csv file. It asks where id like it stored with no options, then when clicking save the entire app closes. I’m really excited to use this app so I’m hoping all my pump data can be added and not manually have to be entered.

Absolutely Amazing!!
I am not typically one to write reviews, but I want to let anyone who is considering downloading — DO IT!! This app has changed the game. I am a very type B person, but when it comes to breast milk I have been tracking everything. I’ve been using DairyBar for 7 months now and it has made my pumping / breastfeeding journey so much smoother. I love being able to track milk from the deep freeze to the freezer to the fridge to baby and stay completely organized.
The app has occasional bugs or crashes, but Jennifer is so quick to respond when you email for support and resolves the issues almost immediately. (Writing this at 11:45pm on a Saturday after an email thread with her helping me).
At the end of the day, the money is worth it. I am extremely satisfied and would absolutely recommend DairyBar to anyone that is nursing / pumping.

Worth it
I’m an exclusive pumper and an over supplier. This app has been a life saver. User friendly and has all the features I was looking for. Definitely has made my life easier in terms of keep track of how much I have, which bags I’ve used and how long my stash will last me.

Missing a few key features
First time mom here who is nursing + pumping. I use a boon trove when nursing and after the milk is chilled, combine w/ existing cold pumped milk in my fridge. One of the things that irritates me is that the pump times offered are only in 15 minute increments. I already have about 30+ frozen bags of milk with the exact start time written on the bags, so none of the entries I add will match my existing stash. Why doesn’t the exact time feature exist? Seems silly to me especially as someone who is tracking their output/supply based on # of expressions and time of day.

Thanks so much for the thoughtful review. You're totally right that the app doesn't offer exact pump times. Most mamas asked for quicker entry, and minute-by-minute tracking actually made it more tedious to enter bags. That said, if exact times are super important (especially for logging an existing stash), you can use the Import feature to add milk with whatever timestamps you want. Such a game changer
I am glad to have this app! I was stressing about how much milk I have, how much I need, etc. I love the feature that lets you calculate about how much milk you need to feed your baby to a certain date and how long it will take to get there!
