What's New in Daisee

2.8.14

August 31, 2026

Daisee can now read a photo you already have. In See for Me, tap "Choose a photo" to have any picture in your library read or described, one someone sent you, or one taken earlier when the light was better. Read Text starts looking the moment it opens. No more waiting through an introduction before Daisee sees your page. Bigger buttons throughout See for Me. Fixed: some buttons appeared in English when Daisee was set to another language.

Tiny tag

Just downloaded the app and tried it on one of those outrageously small printed tags that come on USB items. Mine was a light to read a book by. On the third try it read every single word in of print that is so small that it wouldn’t even have shown up on my mag

Response from developer

Thank you for the feedback. Cane Mode is only available on supported phones with LiDAR/depth sensing, so if your device doesn’t support that hardware, the option will not appear in the menu. When Daisee says it “can’t see the road,” that is a safety message. Daisee is designed to give extra audio information while walking, but it should always be used alongside your usual mobility aid, such as a white cane or guide dog, and never relied on by itself for navigation. If you let us know your iPhone model, we’ll be happy to confirm whether Cane Mode is supported on your device.🙂 support@hellodaisee.org
