What's New in Daisy Sensor

1.05

August 18, 2017

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon. Chart is now easier to expand! We made the button to expand the chart large enough to include the collapsed chart. So now tapping the collapsed chart or the label above the chart will expand the chart. You still have to tap the label above the chart to collapse the chart. Otherwise you wouldn't be able to do things like pan and scroll on the chart when expanded. The chart data point detail tags (brought up by long pressing on the chart data) are now synchronized across the 3 charts when moving the tag in the moisture chart. Using the chart data point detail tags allows you to see moisture, light and temperature to 2 digits resolution for each data point.

Don’t waste your money

I got four of these as a kickstarter. Three arrived and the batteries were dead. One worked but the app is total garbage. These guys are a joke.

Poorly designed

The sensors seem accurate. But the app is poorly designed. It's near impossible get to the data your looking for. The graphs are hard to open and operate. The Y axis is imprecise (the moisture is somewhere between 20%-70%). You can't read the 3 values simultaneously.

Response from developer

The Y axis horizontal lines are the plants minimum and maximum safe watering levels (20% & 70% in your example). If you want to see a precise moisture value, long press on a data point and a tag will popup showing the moisture to 1% resolution. A new version (1.05) has been submitted for review by Apple with a larger button area for expanding the chart and synchronized data tags so you can see the 2 digit data values for moisture, light & temperature simultaneously. A long press on the moisture chart will bring up the data tags.

Crashes when I take a photo

I've just started using the app and want to add my first plant. When I click to add a photo, the app crashes every time.

Response from developer

Sorry about that. The latest release (1.03) fixes that problem. Hopefully you will try it again.
