About

Daisy World is a desert of small shoebox worlds, set out on the sand the way florets sit in a daisy's head. Jomi, the keeper in the yellow hoodie, lives in the lodge at the middle. Each box has one thing in it to do with your hands, and each gives you something to keep: a haiku, a dream, a plant, a letter. They gather on the lodge shelf, a journal that wrote itself while you were busy. REFLECTION POND Draw on the morning sky with a finger. When you stop, the pond reads the marks and answers with a haiku. Keep the ones you like as bookmarks. THE PAPER BOAT Fold a sheet in three taps, write a word on the sail or none, and carry it to the stream. It drifts off into the dark. Another day it comes back with a line of weather from wherever it went. THE TURNING SKY A girl falls asleep among the stars and wakes in the desert. One day walks through a year, and the desert walks into the stars. A BREATH OF ELSEWHERE Glass canisters hold the air of far places: a glacier morning, a lagoon at sunset, a barefoot afternoon. Open one and the phone becomes a window you turn around in. A slow breathing shape can rest over the view for as long as you like. JOSHUA TREE, AS ABOVE, AS BELOW Give an old tree three words and it answers with a poem. Answer three questions and dream one dream, picture and all. Answer the dunes, and find out which desert plant you are. THE SEARCHING CAGE An empty birdcage stands by a mirror lake at dusk, its door floating on the water. A poem in five parts, with its own song; a swipe of your finger is the wind. THE SAND KEEPS THE HOUR The light on the sand follows your own clock, from a dawn blush to golden hour and back to night, and the moon shows its true phase. A lizard does its push-ups only at high sun. Something is growing behind the lodge, and it wants one thing from every box. When it has them all, a door opens in it. Past the door, a plant rides with you through the places a feeling lives, and at the end of the line it writes you a letter. AFTER THE FIRST RIDE Three more boxes wake up. THE LITTLE GARDEN Every ride leaves a seed from the plant that rode with you. Plant it in one of twelve beds around a small pool and water it once a day. Each watered day it grows a little, and on the seventh it does what it was waiting for: the poppy opens, the smoke tree goes purple. Left alone for a few days it droops, and straightens at the next watering. Nothing here dies. THE PURRING ROAD In the market lives a cat that eats sounds. One day it eats too much and floats away, and the only way to bring it home is to follow its purring. A story in ink, with its own song. THE BOX TO TAKE HOME The other boxes stay on the sand. This one travels to your door: a real box from Season II, ordered at seasonii.com, with prints and small things by the season's artists. What's inside changes with the seasons. Daisy World isn't a game to win, and it isn't a meditation course. It's a quiet place to make small things and keep them. CREDITS The first three boxes are free and need no account. The boxes that write or paint with AI (the pond's haiku, the tree's poem, the dream, the letters from the ride) use credits: sign in with Apple or Google for 3 to start and one more each day, up to 3. The first keepsake in each box is free, the paper boat's reply is free once a day, and credit packs are available in the app. No ads. No tracking.
