Doesn’t work all the time
This is the only app of indian post service and its service totally poor and unacceptable
Nothing works
I’ve been trying to raise a complaint about my parcel gone missing, there has been no transition updates nor any sort of grievance redressal despite multiple complaints. The complaints itself would not go through even when filling all the details… what kind of useless of an app and service is this.

App has several bugs . I tried to register a complaint through app, but so many bugs shows up. I think they haven’t tested the app completely.

Dak Seva App Lags and Delays – Needs Optimization
The Dak Seva app needs significant improvement in performance. It works very slowly, and responses take too much time, which makes even simple tasks frustrating. In today’s fast-paced environment, users expect quick and smooth service, but this app often lags and delays actions. Kindly optimize the app speed and responsiveness to provide a better user experience.

A Digital Disappointment from India Post
India Post had a golden opportunity to modernize its services with Dak Sewa, but the app manages to make a simple task feel like an ordeal. Tracking a parcel — which should take two taps — turns into a loop of error messages, blank screens, and endless loading spinners that go nowhere.
The interface looks like it was designed a decade ago and never revisited. Half the features either don’t load or redirect you to a browser, defeating the entire purpose of having an app. OTP delivery is unreliable, login sessions expire without warning, and the app frequently crashes mid-use.
Customer grievance options exist on paper but lead to dead ends. For a government service that handles millions of parcels daily, this level of digital infrastructure is simply not acceptable.
If you’re expecting real-time tracking or any meaningful functionality, lower your expectations dramatically — or just call your local post office directly. It’ll save you time and frustration.

App hangs
It would be good to test frequently to check how the app works. I have been trying many times, the does not open at all. If it opens it hangs frequently.

App does not load and all features are not accessible. Crashes frequently. Update Required.
Corrupt App , same as their govt. department
Had a horrible experience with the app . Chatbot is kept on loading . Half of the features are not even working . Seems like these corrupt govt. BABUs don’t even know how to develop the aap, interface is like as if it was developed in 1900 . Pathetic . Rather remove this app from Apple Store and play store .Useless .

Overuse of captchas.
You have to keep entering captchas. Even for looking up which post office serves a pincode.

Register complaint option doesn’t work.

A simple option such as ‘ Register my complaint’ doesn’t work. After entering all the details, it just throws this error: “Validation Error: validation error” which is senseless. I have been trying to raise a complaint for over a week but I get the same error every time. Developers need to look into it.

In profile’s account detail section, when Aadhar kyc is performed through OTP, it doesn’t complete. No OTP filling screen becomes visible. Please fix this issue.
The creator wasted their time on this application.
It frequently freezes and the information provided is incomplete. I have never seen such a useless application before.

After installing it will login once only if you exit aap den you can’t login second time it will stuck in login page itself, multiple times I tried to login but it won’t happen please look into this and solve it ASAP…

Excellent initiative by department of post. Tracking has been made so easy and you get everything related to department of post through the app. Good job, keep it up.
As expected, some things don’t work
Highlighting 3 issues: 1) Cannot change password (gives error). 2) The useless chatbot named Megha keeps repeating - Sorry I couldn’t understand. 3) The app keeps promoting (forcing) me to set biometric or face ID. But of course photos of government babus are plastered all over the post office homepage. Get to work and fix the issues!

Also app doesn't adjusts premium calculation table even when auto rotate of phone is turned on.
Kindly make layout of Premium table of pli/rpli in landscape, so we can easily explain it to customers.
