Room for Improvement
My biggest complaint with this game is that the dev's website refers to Dames Mate as "Checkers 3D" which is surprising because this is definitely not checkers. Dames and international draughts is played on a 10x10 board and unkinged pieces capture backwards. Checkers is played on an 8x8 board and pieces must capture but only as they advance forward.
In this game, there is no way to toggle between dames and checkers, and even if you change the board to 8x8, pieces still capture backwards.
I was willing to look past the ridiculous description, the hideous font, and even the typos in the game if it would've given me a worthy ACF-level checkers opponent, but this is a strikeout for sure.
If you are looking for a good checkers opponent to strengthen your game, look elsewhere.
Devs: please either modify the game for ACF rules or stop calling it "checkers" on your website. And PS, the word "lose" only has one "o." Thanks.
