Bad!!!
I am amazed at how badly the developers could mess this up. They don’t even have all the dances. As a ballroom dancer myself I am utterly disappointed in this app. You are MUCH better off just going to dance lessons.
Good for the basics
This app gives you little notes on foot positions which was very helpful. Perfect if you want to learn something simple!
Very original
This is a very original idea as it can walk you through the basic steps in a new dance. Lots of fun to try with a partner!
Needs significant improvement
The music is sub midi quality and barely resembles typical instrumentals for each dance style. Shoe images do not distinguish full foot plants from heel or toe steps and pivots. Animation lacks transitions from step to step, which makes following them difficult. This app is unhelpful in its current form for dancers at any level. Two stars because at least it doesn't crash.

Waste of time
Sorry folks but this app is a joke
Do not buy
You will learn little from this app. The steps shown are just baby first steps. You will still be clueless about all the moves necessary to dance. There are no videos of the real dance to show you what the dance should look like. Worse, your dance partner will leave you after the first music bar.
Best learn how to dance app I've used
This is the only educational app I could find where you actually learn the most common dances you would need to know. Easy to use, learn within seconds. Just would love it if they kept adding more dancers.

Application updated v. Fast. In principle very good and a good way to learn if you are able to do so by watching a screen. The biggest gripe I have is that the dance steps are not the same as I am taught in class so not very good for me. If you are a novice with no experience then it does a job.

Ok well done developer, you have fixed it so it doesn't crash, how about fixing it so it actually works?!?!?!?!?
Problem solved
I like that the programmer took immediate action (as it can be seen on above app’s description). I contacted him and I got an ultra-fast reply. Yes, the problem is v. 4.3 specific, he already corrected it and sent an updated version of his application to Apple for approval. Waiting for it, no harm done.
