Is this app still working? I can’t open it & would love to use this app when I start the Daniel Fast soon

Do not get yearly subscription

This is only for 12 days! You will have access to the same material for a year not new content. Our church did the 21 days so I decided on the yearly subscription. It stops at day 12! It has a couple recipes but you can find more on free platforms. The scriptures and blogs are nothing more than you can find elsewhere. Don’t waste your money unless you just want to. ;)

It does not say there is cost, but once downloaded you can’t get any info without paying. Last update was more than 2 years ago

Access to the content in our app requires a subscription. All new users will receive a free 7 day trial during which they can cancel their subscription at no additional cost. Our app content is updated frequently and we hope you’ll sign up to see our latest devotionals along with our new recipes.

Misleading

This app should state that you have to pay to access anything on the app. I just deleted it. I’m not going to pay without seeing what the app has to offer.

All of our app subscription options come with a free 7 day trial. If you don't enjoy reading our weekly blogs, using our barcode scanner, making meals with our recipes, or using our meal planner... you can cancel your subscription within 7 days at no cost.

Great App

I love this idea! This app is so helpful for anybody trying to do the Daniel Fast. For me it is especially helpful because I am a picky eater and following the easy recipes takes a lot of stress out of what I’m going to eat, and just be able to spend more time on what matters which is spending time with God. I also really love how you can plan your meals in a calendar, that’s something that I was looking for. And I also love the blog posts. Overall it’s so exciting to see an app that is created to glorify God and help the followers of Jesus do the Daniel fast. Praise the Lord!

Pasta??

Was very surprised that one of the first recipes I found on the app was one with pasta which is not allowed on a Daniel’s fast. Even when adding pasta into the list of ingredients it comes up red for no! Will soldier on and see if it is of benefit.

We’ve got good news! Whole grains are allowed on the Daniel Fast and thus whole grain pastas are allowed. Also, there are numerous plant based pastas allowed on the Daniel Fast. Chickpea pasta is one of our favorites!

Where is the scripture?

Without Bible scripture it’s just a below subpar app

The Daniel Fast app is founded in scripture. Scripture can be found inside of many blogs including the "Water", "Yeast", and "Vinegar" blogs. We hope you give them a read!

Not Worth Paid Subscription

This could be so much better if it offered daily devotionals or helpful tools. This is basically recipes in an app which you can find for free on Pinterest.

In the meantime, we highly recommend you check out the blog section of our app as it contains a wide variety of helpful messages. Some of our favorites include "WHEN not IF you fast", "Giving Thanks", "Distractions", and "Digestion". Also, be sure to try the barcode scanner. It is very helpful for reducing the amount of time you spend searching for Daniel Fast approved grocery items. The meal planner is also helpful so you can plan out your fast before it begins. We hope our messages and additional tools help you spend less time searching and planning your meals... and more time with what matters most.

Unhappy

So I’ve ordered and paid for this app. And apparently none of the icons work. I see no recipes. Very frustrated. Probably will get a refund if it doesn’t work soon. Calling Apple now.
