Thumbs up!

Thank you for your devotion, motivation, and passion. This is a very good app for practicing and teaching in our dancesport community! Thumbs up

Good for dancers!

It is a special app for dancers, especially for pair dancing like ballroom, latin, etc.
We can listen and dance with many kinds of music…classical songs, the newest songs, everything is here as you want!
Before I found this, I need have to buy songs each time.
In addition, almost of all the major music apps has no mode to control the tempo.
Problems are solved by this app.
And the person who makes this app is so kind:-)
I received so gently response when I was texted to report the little system trouble, and that solved so quickly. Thank you for your kindness.

Bereicherung fürs training

Hallo zusammen,

Hello there! Thank you very much for your review! The feature suggestions are all great, in fact, we are currently working on the Playback of search results as a Playlist. This combined with our already implemented Save the Now Playing as Playlist feature will enable much faster and easier Playlist creation. Could you tell us more about the final round population based on dances? Do you imagine it as a feature where the user sets up the type of the dances and the order and then the app randomly selects songs and populates the list? If something like this, we also have this planned as the "Advanced" mode for the Competetion Play mode. The folder structure is an understandable request but that might be a bit more tricky to implement from a UI/UX standpoint, but definitely a good suggestion and we will see how we can make a better interface.

Technically fine, content not well organized

I would happily pay for this app if it were possible to find the good songs. There are plenty of them, but there is so much more music that I consider unsuitable for ballroom dancing. It takes way too long to find the good ones even if you know some of the titles.

Other streaming services offer 1000 times more content than this one at the same price, including dance music. In order to justify the same price, it will not be sufficient to compile music that matches (part of) the definition of dance music. The content needs to be more accessible.

When people look for a Rumba, they want not just anything with 4/4 timing and 27 bars per minute. Music with inappropriate rhythm should be removed from the app straight away. Other songs would have to be tagged according to their characteristics and suitability for beginners or advanced dancers. There might be playlists with different songs for social dancing, competitions or shows.

With some organization of the content, the app could be even more expensive. As it is, you cannot justify half the price.

Thank you for the review! Some of the organizational features you are mentioning are planned for this year (like specalized global playlists). Better tags and more nuanced filtering is also planned in the future but some aspects are a bit more subjective than others so we are working on a comprehensive system with which we can efficiently categorize every track.

Vielen Dank … weiter do …

Good idea but no watch app

Good idea but no watch app

Gute Lieder, Endrunden- Option fehlt mir

Hello Oliver! Thank you very much for the feedback! As a matter of fact, the design phase of Competition Mode - the ability to set up heats & finals with custom song lengths, repetitions and pauses between songs - has already started a couple of months ago. It is a feature which was always planned for DanStream and will 100% be implemented. If all things go well, and we can finish the design phase soon, then it will be introduced this year! About the frequency of music updates: We are always encouraging our partners to produce and license more music that we can publish on DanStream. As the platform grows in pupularity, the volume of available music will grow as well :)
