Darbak: Driver

Darbak Driver is the working app for service providers on the Darbak roadside assistance network — tow truck operators, mechanics, and tyre and battery technicians across Jordan. This app is for providers who have been approved onto the platform. It is not used to request assistance; for that, download the Darbak app. WHAT YOU CAN DO • Receive job offers from customers near you, with the service, location and distance shown before you accept • Accept or pass — offers move to the next provider if you are busy • Navigate to the customer, with their exact location and contact details • Update the job status as you go, so the customer sees real progress • See the photos the customer attached when they requested help • Go online or offline to control when you receive work • Review your full job history LOCATION Darbak Driver uses your location, including in the background while the app is closed or your phone is locked, and continues to do so while you are signed in. This is required to operate the service. Your location is what routes a request to the nearest available provider, what lets a waiting customer see an accurate arrival time, and what records the distance a job actually covered so it can be billed correctly. Location is not collected when you are signed out, and it is never used for advertising or sold to anyone. Signing out stops location collection entirely. Going offline stops new job offers but keeps location running, because jobs already accepted still need to be tracked. WORKING ON THE PLATFORM You need a valid licence, insurance and the vehicle permits required for the work you accept.
