Have not been able to load this game for a month now. Don’t think it’s running anymore
I miss illusion connect..
Please update this game, it’s the closest thing to illusion connect out there. I don’t want fan service, the pvp is what I miss. It’s so intricate and unique I love the turn based strategy gameplay. I haven’t found any other game like it. Bring it back, please. I’m begging.

Money grabbing scam. Original game was shadow brides from back in 2022. After a little over a year they shut the game game with no notice and renamed it cursed/dark brides 4th quarter 2023. It’s now February of 2025 and the last communion we got from the devs was in April of 2024 (10 months). Devs have abandoned the game and just leave the servers up as a money grab.

This game has been released before
Previously known as Shadow Brides, the developers have a habit of renaming themselves and shutting down their games. This game hasn’t changed apart from the name. They shut it down a few months back along with everyone’s data and purchases. They also claim to be another company… They closed their previous game, Illusion Connect, and their first game too. Just don’t buy anything with real money, as you will lose your progress when they eventually shut down the servers to this game again.

I went on vacation… comeback to login in and the company “had their rights sold and changed the game title.” Lost all of my game data…I would have to start from scratch and go through an annoying tutorial, etc…if this is the case and others are having the same issue… I guarantee it’s not worth playing because they’ll probably do this again in the future.

Scam Company?
I had an account where my characters were at level 285. I put a lot of time and money into this game. It was called Shadow Brides. Although it’s hard I can accept end of service when a game doesn’t do well. However this is different. There was no end of service announcement and this random duplicate game app called cursed brides shows up. They claim they purchased the license but it should of been easy to keep our game data and transfer it to their server from one company to another. But for some reason, they didn’t and left us players who helped them with feedback, bug reports and took our money and left us face first in the mud. I don’t trust this company and they are not getting a dime from me.

Its Bad copy of shadow bride
Even when its an exact copy of the game Shadow Bride, they make it slower. For every action in the game, you have to wait 15 seconds.

Company collected money from Shadow Brides players (identical game) shut down support and then re-released as this one. I’m guessing in a year or so they will do it again. Hours of grinding just to be abandoned. The developer website in the description takes you to shadow brides! You owe your players the ability to transfer their save file or their money back!

Remade game of Shadow Brides. They abandoned SB with no words and left all players in the dark to just remake the same game where everyone has to start over. Don’t be fooled into giving them your money as they will just do this again.
