Does not challenge your skills
The effect that you are blinded without knowing where the opponent’s pieces are place, remembers me Stratego. It does not matter if your are outsearching your opponent. One hidden opponent’s pieces that you had no idea where it was placed, you will simply loose the game. Maybe for somes are a likeable game but not for my taste.

Even if you don’t think you’re good at chess it doesn’t matter too much in this game since most, by far of your opponent’s pieces are hidden so it’s a whole different thing, pretty much anyone can win at this as long as you know the basics of chess just practice a lot first. This really like playing chess with a blindfold on in certain ways.
