Glitches
I have played this game a few times since purchasing in 2019. Sadly went to play it again and have had nothing but trouble. I am using iPad Pro iOS 26.5 and every time I have gone to use the guide it shuts down. I note that there was an update recently, this could of course had a bad effect on using latest iOS. The mini games are a bit slow to work but at least they do so.
All in all it’s not working as it used to work.

The least favorite in the series
I guess I left this game in the series to last for an reason. That reason being I was disappointed that the Detective was male. I like this series for the female detective. Also I was grossly disappointed that the bonus game had nothing to do with the main story and was all about Christmas and Dickens just because that was loosely London related.

I see from your response that you have no reading comprehension. I explained I had played all other games in this series and had left this one for last as it was the least appealing. I was correct that it did not live up to all the others THAT I HAD ALREADY PLAYED.

Stop highjacking my podcast
Usually I can play a podcast at the same time I play a game. This game complete highjacks all the sound.

One of the best games I’ve played in a long time. It kept my interest. It’s not short so I didn’t feel cheated.
Fun!
This game had just the right mixture between games and hidden objects. The music was actually nice and the voice actors were far better than many games I’ve played in the past. I will definitely be trying another “Dark City” game!
You have to pay to play
It gives you just enough free play to get sucked in and then it costs to play. With so many free games, why would I pay to play this game? Immediately uninstalled
Great game
I’m new to this series, and love it. Between the puzzles, graphics and story line, it’s one of the best, in my opinion. One question, is there a certain order I need to play this series or are they independent of each other.

The one that started it all
The first game I brought and played while bored in lockdown. I have replayed multiple times and enjoyed myself every time. I have brought every Game in the Dark City series and have never been disappointed. Keep up the good work. I will definitely buy the next instalment.
Fun game but too easy
I like the game. Aesthetically very pleasing and great story. But there are too few puzzles ab the ones they had are super easy.

Hey this start out with witchcraft but it lightens up. Nice long game. It’s a large map, and things can get confusing and it gets a bit slow at times. I like the drawing, the story, and most of the puzzles. Very good!

Why are there two of the same games just with different pictures? Feeling ripped off as I paid for it.

We have 2 variants of games: "premium" versions of the game, where you pay once and all hints and skips will be absolutely free; "free to play" - gameplay is free, but you can purchase additional hints if needed. Boring and horrible ending
Excellent game!!!
This was a joy to play. The playtime was sufficient as was that of the bonus game. I experienced no problems throughout. Very well designed and programmed. EXCEPTIONAL!

Enjoyed this game and payed to get the full version (which I enjoyed) but the game really isn’t long enough for £5 so I’d say a bit of a rip off, easily completed in 2 days and that’s with the extra game to so I wouldn’t waste your money

This was my first Dark City game that I played years ago. It was a wonderful introduction to the genre, and I went on to buy just about every game made by the developer. Being middle aged, I’m now playing the games again because I’ve completely forgotten all the puzzles and story. It’s a great game even on the second pass.
If you haven’t played games from this developer before, don’t be scared off by the fact that you have to pay $5.99 to complete the game. They give you a significant taste before you have to pay, and you’ll definitely get hooked. The price is a bargain! Each game is hours and hours and hours of sheer addictive enjoyment! The games are soooooo well done!
