Used to work, but doesn’t function properly (in some cases) in newer iOS versions
This app hasn’t been updated in a year or so, and within the last few months some of the functionality of it broke. Certain pages that have been visited before while on turn dark when turned off, forcing you to go into the settings and toggle it on then off again. According to previous reviewers, the images would turn all-black when visiting certain sites; but for my case, the brightness of the images gets reset until you go back and readjust the settings. Also I think on websites with a dark mode already look a bit hideous overall, lol. An update to fix these two issues would be nice, as a previous avid user of this Safari extension.

Doesn’t darken correctly for months/iOS versions
The app doesn’t darken correctly, which makes images and web elements invisible. The issue can be temporarily fixed by going into the settings and switching between fixed dark mode and automatic, but you have to keep doing it constantly, and it’s a real pain.
Consistently doesn’t switch right
When it’s daytime pages still load in dark mode even though the extension says “disabled by iOS settings” during daytime

June 10, 2026. iOS 26.5 STILL BROKEN. Is it still apples fault? Please let us all know if Apple is going to continue to make this app unusable so we can just delete this app if it’s dead now with no fix coming. Thanks.

Since last iOS update, I have to totally disable the app to make YouTube work at all. Using “disable on this website” no longer works. Have to totally disable app entirely to view YouTube now. Please update this app.

Not what it used to be
I used to love this and it saved me so much, however it clearly hasn’t been updated to the new iOS as it can’t do any websites anymore I basically cannot use it and have to turn it off so I’ve now bought a different one and this was a waste of money.

Pic shows ay black
The picture don’t load and stay blank or black I have to turn off extension and turn it back on. This seems to work until I move on to another site.

Similarly, when playing videos directly from their thumbnails, the screen remains black. Switching to full-screen mode resolves this issue.
I’ve been using this service regularly, so I’d appreciate it if you could fix this as soon as possible.

Needs urgent updating
As someone with a visual impairment this is a must have. It has been working very well for me for a very long time. There has always been the odd website that doesn’t quite work, but recently I find I have to turn it off and on or switch from on to auto almost every time a new page loads. Not sure why this is, but probably because it hasn’t been updated for a year while Safari/iPadOS has. For those who absolutely need this functionality an update can’t come soon enough.
