Good but glitchy

The app works but it has glitches and sometimes freezes. I really hope they update this app soon.

Anagram update

Wondering if the app will be compatible with the new anagram?

App won’t open

I have downloaded and deleted it multiple times but it won’t open at all on my iPhone using IOS 18. I’d like to be positive but it makes using the element that just bought pretty limited.

Un useable

I’m connected to the internet but it’s still saying “unable to fetch assets”

Inconsistent

God forbid this app work when I need it to. It’s buggy and inconsistent at best. I’m so sick and tired of everyone trying to make everything fancy instead of RELIABLE. I might as well throw the element in the trash and delete the app.

Started off Great…

I started using this app when I purchased the Alpha/Omega Photon and Microtubes Infinity and it worked great for both. But since the latest update the app will connect but not communicate ( i.e display current presets or change presets ) the app also freezes
Please update with a fix
Then it will be 5 stars

Decent features for a free companion app

I like the signal chain path layout testing and tone experiments. Pretty useful tbh.
Imo this is probably mostly used with the Element pedal, and having a headphone amp pedal with bonus Bluetooth capability is kind of nice when you're out at a live open mic or something as a solo 'bassist booty call' and you get asked if you can play a certain song(s). I just say uhh gimme a minute and connect the element via Bluetooth to my phone and headphone then jam along to the song(s) with the bass guitar overlaid. There are other devices that do this as well (fender mustang micro for ex), but those devices are complete garbage in terms of the sheer amount of features and functionality this has by comparison and even comparing price. I know this is supposed to be an app comparison but it should go without saying by now that DG makes only high quality and useful stuff for pro and hobby musicians, or gear heads lol. Keep the updates coming my Finnish friends!

Just fantastic

I was skeptical to try these pedals due to cost and my hesitancy to try anything even remotely digital. Nonetheless I tried the ADAM and holy… it’s fantastic. Very versatile too. But with character. It won’t sound just like your typical sans amp. It’s a lot more flexible. And also easy to use - the app is so easy to use and flexible. You won’t spend days trying to find a good sound (unless you want to), dialling in a good sound is seamless. My only concern is if they ever take down the app… I hope they never do that. I liked my ADAM so much that I bought the alpha omega photon pedal - different character, it’s definitely not the same. And the best part is this pedal is musical. It will not get in the way of your creativity, it enhances it. Kudos Darkglass, this is such a fantastic product.

Could be better

I really like the idea of the Darkglass Suite and how it works with my exponent 500, but I’m shocked that you can’t use the app in landscape.

Works great with my element

Love that I can swap cabs, eq, and adjust the noise gate with my phone while playing along to songs via Bluetooth on my element. App connects easily, works consistently and is easy to use.

Disappointed

The description for this app says some features are not available on all devices so I downloaded the software on my iPad to check it out. Very disappointed that I can not preview the software in Simulator mode. I only have an iPad so if all features are not available I would not buy an Element. Please add the preview/simulator feature back. Thank you

Response from developer

Hi, There are no current plans to bring back simulator mode, but Element's full featureset is available on the iPad version of the Suite.

have the 900v2 and can not pair with my amp

is not pair with my bass amp

Response from developer

Hi Jerral, The mobile app currently only supports Bluetooth-enabled Darkglass devices (Element and Aggressively Distorting Advanced Machine), the 900v2 can be connected to the Darkglass Suite Desktop version via USB
