Quick and efficient
Taxi arrived 5 minutes before and we got to our destination 15 minutes early. Only critique I would give the app is being able to chose another payment option
Great Taxi App
Best Taxi App in Darwin. Negative reviews here seem to be for older versions of the app. I always use the app for booking a taxi when going to work or into the City when the phone lines are busy. Awesome that you can track your taxi as well. Well done Darwin Taxi.
Great app
Very easy to navigate and quick response, driver was right on time and got me to the airport no dramas at all!
Don’t bother
Used for the first time, taxi confirmed and said 7mins. After over ten thought I would call to check in. But was told abruptly I had not provided an address. Which I had, and it had been confirmed. Considering the operators attitude I decided to call someone else.
In summary just call until they catch up with today’s technology and sort out the app!

Useless
App keeps crashing whilst trying to register.
After many attempts got sent a code to enter to register, registration then failed and app crashed again

App keeps crashing
I’ve used the app regularly in the last month and when initially booking, the app will immediately crash after you’ve hit Place Booking. When you reload the app, sometimes the booking is there, sometimes it isn’t. You place another booking and it may get to the Contacting Driver load screen, sometimes it doesn’t...if successful, it sometimes shows 2 bookings which then you end up having to call the Taxi 13 number to apologise for any confusion/confirm a singular booking.
This morning resulted in just that (30 mins overall to get one booking sorted out), when I advised the Taxi base they advised they don’t deal with the app and to contact the technical department....please update the app.

An improvement but not much!
Map seems very off as far as identifying locations.... street numbers are on wrong sides in my street.
Often it'll say no cab available that matches when you've specified "any" and are booking for the next day.
And when I tried reinstalling it made me login again but I forgot my password... no sign of the email it's supposed to send to reset it so now I can't use it at all - had to use a new email and create new registration.
Also, drivers still drop your booking if they feel like it, and get some messed up bookings: had one driver claiming I'd booked for four passengers but app actually says "1-4" when booking.

Don't bother .... it's hopeless
Why have a map without the ability to locate where you are at the moment you need a taxi !!!!!!

I've tried this app a couple of times, I generally end up calling to get the booking done. :(

The app is great, much better than the phone option. Have had mixed luck on occasion with drivers picking up the request, then dropping for a better fare, sometimes "realtime" is too much info.. But still remains better than making a call.
Wish there was an option to leave comments post trip. Had an exceptionally great driver tonight and would like to provide positive feedback.

Poor
The app is clunky and not great to use. The worst bit is that it does not have the ability to automatically locate you which I would have thought was a must for a location based app like this.
In the end I just ended up calling the company as it's quicker and easier.

cannot register
Keen to use this product as it would be handy for the deaf to book taxi. However I can not get the 4 digit code to be send out to me to enable me to register. I have reported the fault to support. They have not even responded to my correspondence. Very Disappointed.
Darwin radio taxi
Good concept, but the app doesn't recognise street names in Darwin, the pre-booking doesn't guarantee a taxi will be there when booked, and it doesn't stop the nasty woman that answers the phone from abusing you for enquiring where your cab is. Not much point in having an app to pre-book!
