Won’t play mp4 on iPad or iPhone
I bought three of these this week directly from meenova based on their advertising all the great functionality and unique capabilities. Unfortunately, the app doesn’t work as expected on my iPads or iPhones. Apparently, the app doesn’t support any iOS above 10. Why is meenova still selling these when they know the app doesn’t support the hardware? This is very disappointing and a waste of $75. I would like my money back if they refuse to update the app!

IOS13 trouble
I have had a Dash-I since the Kickstarter campaign. I also bought more for Christmas presents. I had misplaced mine and recently found it. Imagine my surprise when I discovered it no longer worked due to updating my IOS and IPAD IOD TO 13. I contacted the vendor and reported the issue and was told they were working on it. My question is, how long will I have to wait?

Loved this and now disappointed
I loved this app and product when I owned an iPad 9.7”. But I upgraded to a new iPad 11” with the new USB-C and now the Dash -i no longer works and no adapter works for the USB-C either. Very very disappointing. Meenova needs to address this incompatibility ASAP!!
Awesome Device for Drone Owners
I have never written a review for an app before, but was so pleased with this little microSD card reader for the iPhone that I felt compelled. I bought this brilliant little device hoping to use it to move video and picture files to and from my iPhone. It works just as advertised. I use it most for getting the video files recorded with my DJI drone onto my iPhone where I can edit them and then post or share them, or just to free up more room on the microSD card while in the field. I’m so glad I didn’t read the reviews for the app before I purchased the device, or I never would have gotten it, based on the poor reviews. I’m not sure what is up with the other users, but I suspect they haven’t figured out how to use the app properly, which I’ll admit took a bit of experimenting to figure out. I didn’t find it necessary to look up directions on-line, as it was plenty intuitive with a little experimentation.
You could also use it to move pics and videos from your phone when it gets full on a vacation or something, onto a microSD card to gain more room to continue taking pics with your phone.
This thing essentially adds unlimited external storage to an iPhone (or iPad). A big thanks to the developer for finally bringing something like this to market for the iPhone! Happy customer here!

I'm never going to support another tech Kickstarter
Are they ever going to update this to work with latest iOS? Apparently not. Early supporters were completely scammed. Lesson learned.
Movie size limitations
I didn't see any size limitations identified but when I try to play anything larger than 4GB stored on the uSD card in the Meenova device, this app hangs. Had I known that, I would not have purchased it.
File Transfer via Share Menu Not Working
Selecting Dash-I. after activating the share menu bar does not work. The process is started the brings up Dash-I then can select the correct folder to paste into...then Dash-I crashes. Sometimes Dash-I crashes just after switching to Dash-I and selecting Save from initial menu.
So far I am able to copy file from my download app to Camera Roll then use the Dash-i "+" from correct folder to transfer to Dash-i. But additional steps and lose name.
Same problem from multiple source apps using Share menu.

Some of the apps for file management with an external device, like the Dash-i, do not work for file transfers from the iPad, iPhone, etc. to the external device.
This app works for all file types to and from the idevice and external. No problems.
My only disappointment is that the included video player doesn't allow for scrubbing nor ff/rew.
This is an essential requirement for video viewing.
The only workaround is to transfer a 9-15gb file from external to idevice to view. Time consuming and many times not possible due to lack of space on idevice.
Correct this and I would rate this app higher.
Also, where is advertised native AirPlay? Mirroring only?

Music player needs to support FLAC
Photo backup seems to work. But I'm using this for playing music, and the ability to play FLAC files is needed.
I want to love it
I like the hardware, but the app disappointed me. The Windows bliss wallpaper seemed too retro. I would prefer a minimal, modern interface. The functionality seems okay. The app crashed a few times when I tried to delete a many files at once. I'm hopeful that the app will evolve. I look forward to loving this app someday soon.
