I loved the game until my purchases stopped being honored. They take my money but never give me anything!

10/10 game better than the second wish they would remaster and expand on this one but keep the same art style one of the must play mobile games

I love this game and always find my self coming back to it. Once again, I’ve become addicted. I believe that fixing some of these small issue’s will evoke happiness in all of us old Dasher’s souls, and provide us with a better gaming experience.
The issues:
- I was unable to make purchases(the game does not attempt to charge my account)
- Using ads to revive in game does not pause the the timer, and results in a game over during the ad.
- Clicking on a boss chest before the transition phase between stages allows you to watch the chest ad during that time. Clicking the “watch ad” button sometimes triggers a forced ad, which overtakes the reward ad, making it disappear.
- Some items/weapons contain descriptions like “treasure hunt”. I can’t figure out exactly what they do. I also cant figure out what triggers auto effects like “auto doom”. Is it does it activate when you take damage, when you deal damage, when you swing your sword? Can these effects chain off of other effects? The mysteries in this game are very hard for the average mobile gamer to uncover alone. And with the lack of help from our aging community, I feel that both new and returning players would highly appreciate some hints or descriptions for these effects being added to the game.
I absolutely understand that this is an older game and may be far removed from any agendas. Especially knowing the fact that there is a sequel. That being said, i plead with you to help us further enjoy our favorite old game!

Good game, unplayably buggy
Game is fun and engaging, if it lets you play it. Glitches make it unplayable.
Not bad BUT
I’m not down with watching ads to continue progress only to die DURING the ad.
Outside of that, it’s an interesting game.
Monetization is what you expect from a mobile game. Not that it’s a good thing, just expect the typical garbage. A 4$ weekly VIP subscription along with your typical store packs ranging in price and “value”. Of course they sell gear and all assortment of other items.
Gameplay is decent and actually enjoyed it but was sullied once I started dying during ads.
The game is almost objectively not worth paying 4$ a week to remove ads to stop this from happening.
If this gets resolved and maybe make a 5$ per month then I would feel a lot differently about this game.

Adapting to the new screen design
I know this review is quite late seeing that the game is quite old but I have a newer iphone and would like it if there was a way to bring the coins and other things at the top of my screen down because I cannot see the coin amount during a run or in the homescreen because of the tab that drops down on the newer iPhones, I also have my buttons like settings which are up there half of screen. I love the game and would really hope that you can potentially update the graphics to fit the newer screens. Or if there is already and I just missed it please point it out. Thanks!

Inexorably Phenomenal
I've loved DQ for years and had always been one of my favourite mobile games since childhood.

Forced ads in 2024? No thank you not worth my time, especially when you can only pay a weekly subscription for $5 to get rid of them, like I'll gladly pay $20 to remove them permanently but no I am not giving you $20 a month to get rid of ads
Purchased vip and benefits don’t work
I’ve purchased vip now for 2 weeks and the benefits have yet to still work I would like to be reimbursed for this thanks as it was a waste of $10 of mine apparently as well as my vip benefits to work

Love the game! Only problem is that the boss health bar and gold count in the main menu is blocked by the iPhone notch

Chests will count down then go to 24hrs to go, on the purple chest, please fix

The best mobile game out there by far
This is by far my favourite mobile I’ve been playing it off and on for a few years. The only problem I had was that I had an account that had the year 1 anniversary items which I have no way of claiming now, other than this though it’s near perfection, keep up the updates.😁
