Poor. Like they don’t use their own product.
Scan always crops away text from edges, missing on plenty of text even though the alignment circles are in place. No way to fix it.

This is the crappiest app I’ve ever F’ing seen!!
The worst. Don’t download it.
First of all the app captured only part of the dashboard, cutting off about 3/4” on all of the edges of the writable area.
Second, after I tried saving my first capture anyhow even though it’s garbage, the app crashed and now crashes every time I open it.
It’s unacceptable. The app has been around for 3 years and it’s still on version 0.1, the company’s had plenty of feedback about the issues, and have completely ignored it. Apple should remove the app from the store. It’s abandonware. It’s not supported. It’s false advertising to give the impression that it exists.
In short, no it’s not worth downloading :)

Crashes after capturing
The app crashed after i tried to save a captured image. Now cant wven open the app.

This app crashes every time I open it. It is very frustrating that I can’t even use it.

After hitting the get started button, the App immediately closes. Have had no success with using the App.
Awesome Concept But Needs Work
I read the other review from 2019 and was hoping this app had improved. Sadly, it has not. The app takes a picture of the entire screen of the unit but only renders an inner rectangle area within the outer frame. As a result, some of the writing along the edge is cut off. The other problem is that the text written on the unit’s screen is hard to see; it’s a dull green on a black background. So, even if the app worked, the physical unit will not do me much good on my refrigerator because I can’t read my notes. To improve this product, please work in the app and make the writing on the physical screen brighter.

Not Happy
The boogie board is awesome works great but the app does not work. Have never got the app to work but maybe 1 time. It saddens me cause I think this could be a product that I would use a bunch.
Terrible
I just bought this at Costco. The Tablet works well but the app is horrendous! One of the reasons i bought the tablet was for my son to be able to save paper! He would be able to save his homework notes and share his math problems and artwork with friends and family. The app makes it SUPER DIFFICULT to capture and save anything!

Product works great, but I was able to use the app only once and it crashes every time now. Can’t even get passed the opening logo screen.

Line up the red dots? Good luck. Unless on a flat surface....not your lap.
Plus what good is it? There are plenty of apps that are much better! Take a picture to take with you? Just make a note on your device. What a waste. To top things off...forget about syncing to your device. The dashboard doesn’t have Bluetooth that new devices recognize.

Crashes
Bought it. Downloaded app. Took first picture and now when I open it the app does not open. Very unhappy with that.
Board good app bad
I downloaded this app twice. It doesn’t work. I take a pic one time, hit save and then the app just closes. I open the app up again and 2 seconds later...it closes. But there are other apps that will do what this one does, so all is not lost.
App review: Terrible
The product is awesome, but the app doesn’t even work. I took my first scan and then it closed out of the app and now I can’t even open the app because it will start to open and then closes again.
App Keeps Crashing
I can’t get the app to work. If I had a choice, it wouldn’t even get 1 Star! Every time I open the app, it either immediately crashes or gets as far as taking the screen’s picture then crashes. The actually boogie board is cool. I’d love it if the app would work so that I can save some of my son’s artwork. What a huge letdown! At least, the board itself works!

No finder dots are present. Therefore, not possible to scan. Have called company twice, a week apart. Tech support did not return my calls.
