App fixed!
In the beginning, the app wouldnβt open. The folks responded right away with a fix. Now it works and it works well. Very happy. 5 stars!
Response from developer
Fixed in version 12.8, within five hours of your report. Many apologies!
The only app to have for me while traveling.
This app is amazing. Current speed (most vehicle speedometers do not show the correct speed), location coordinates, direction of travel, everything I need. Has never quit working. The red text is perfect for nighttime use. I also like have to miles traveled so that I can log the miles for work.
Wow
I bought this app because i needed one that showed magnetic heading, as well as groundspeed for my experimental airplane. Wow, it does so much more, and displays in landscape or portrait. Can change display colors, review flight later with speed, times and altitudes, and the instructions are fantastic, great product, worth a lot more than I paid for it!!

Great App
In a large field of "Speed" apps this has to be the best. Very clean and clear display. Very customizable. Responsive support. All for 99 cents. (I have an IPHONE 6S)

Excellent app does exactly want to states it does.
Excellent
Works as advertised. Very informative when using it on my motorcycle. Display is easy to read. Excellent support from developer. Highly recommended!
Great π
Does what it says , works well and lot of features . Great app !
Does it all
I downloaded and tried put all the free and lite speedometer apps. Finally found this one that had everything I wanted. The lite version lacked one thing I wanted: mph to the tenths. The screenshot of the paid version appeared to have it so I sprung for the very reasonably priced full version. Found the tenths option in the settings. There are a lot of options in the settings of the paid version! Also contains a owners manual right in app! I'm very satisfied.

The best GPS and Heads UP app found. Creator responds quickly to comments and suggestions. Read the info part. This app has to many features to list here.
Wonderful App 10/10
I purchased this app because I wanted something that would show me altitude, speed and heading information while I drive and bike. I love that the app isn't overly complicated with lame visual graphics. The information is large, easy to read, accurate, and intuitively laid out. No gimmicks and that's huge. I'm a commercial pilot, so I can really appreciate how fast I can find the information I'm interested in. The app is easy to use and very capable. It has plenty of advanced features too, which I really enjoy using. Worth every penny.

Nice
Loads quickly on my 3G, great features. Really good !!
Good, but Not Perfect
Love the HeadsUp display. You can place it on your dash at night and see the reflection in your windshield, and it does not interfere with vision. Only downside is that you cannot cache maps, so while the GPS will work out of cell phone range, you can only identify your longitude and latitude postion. If you have a whole set of maps with you that is OK, but most people do not. I still like TOPO MAPS. A little more expensive, but you can cache maps and know where you are at all times, even out of cell phone range.,

Does exactly what it says on the tin
Good, accurate, stable readings, came in handy during a recent excursion to Snowdonia, thanks!
The best dashboard app in the store
I ride a motorcycle on numerous enduro events and have my iPhone set up to play music and run navigation during the events. My navigation software doesn't give me the data that I needed so I went looking for an app that would work. Seems simple, I wanted an app to give me speed moving time stopped time and it would be really good to be able to set a distance to count back from so that I knew how far I had before refuelling. I found that it was. Of as easy as it looked. I have tried every dashboard app in iTunes and have spent a lot of money and found that while some could do some of what I wanted, none of them met all of my needs.... Until dashometer!! This app is fantastic. The display is very clear and easy to read in a car and on a bike. The settings are easy to follow and the display can show a number of different readings. Finally I found an app that will do what I need as this one you can set a target distance and it will count back from it. Even better it will tell you how long it will take to get to the target distance based on the current speed. The dev is very quick to respond to feedback as well. This app just makes me want get out on my bike to play with the app. 10 stars.

Nice update!
Good to see a developer that updates there apps regularly. Great speedo app, lots of info displayed clearly. Would be nice to possibly have a weather indicator, font options and red as a colour to match my dials. Overall a great app!
Needs landscape support
Good app. Has diverse functionality and a well-placed, no nonsense readout. The tap controls are intuitive and perfect for quickly switching between different measurements. No support for landscape orientation is baffling, however; An update would make the app much more practical for in-car use.
Great app
My Jeep doesn't have a trip meter so I needed a portable odometer to follow trail guides. This app is perfect for this, with some nice features like altitude and compass as well. Also quickly shows your map position. Worth buying if you drive in back country or do road rally!
Dashometer with nifty heads-up display
I noticed Dashometer while browsing the iTunes App store and figured I wouldn't loose much if I didn't like it. Well I like it. On one screen it displays position coordinates, direction in both degrees and cardinal, altitude, speed, and odometer, timer, along with several variations for each display.
If features a nice heads-up display mode (called "Mirror Display" in settings) that allows you to fasten your iPhone to the dashboard near the front window (I recommend you don't just set your expensive iPhone on the dashboard while driving) and see the reflected image. Settings allow changing the display color from white to orange or blue for nighttime driving.
Briefly tapping the coordinate display brings up a menu that allows showing a trip summary, your position on Google Maps, sending your position (and a Google Maps location URL) via email. or copying your position to the clip/paste board.
Dashometer also has the capability to set a distance target or a radius limit that will alert you when you have reached the distance set, or traveled outside the circle defined by the radius limit. It would be nice to have to ability to set any arbitrary coordinate (lat/lon, address, position on a map, etc) to generalize the proximity alarm feature.
Read the whole application description above for more info. (I didn't and had to accidently stumble on how to change data parameters - yeah, I know... RTM).
I tried it, it works, and I like it. My only criticism is the app needs an info screen for first time users who don't read the full application description like me.
