Der erste Eindruck ist positiv, die Windows-Version bietet eine Menge an Datenfeldern - im Gegensatz dazu ist die App ist unbrauchbar. Eine Synchronisation funktioniert nicht. Beim Löschen von Datensätzen stürzt die App regelmäßig ab. In einem derart unzuverlässigen Programm speichere ich keine Kennwörter. Das Upgraden auf die Pro Version (was immer auch Pro bedeutet) kostet, wird aber nicht erstattet.

Loved it... time to move on
10 year user. Upgraded every time. Had to bear with the occasional crashes and the instability of the version on macOS.
Does not sync well with macOS version 5 (one entry always missing). Crashes when using faceid.
Found it less and less friendly and new system is appalling payment scheme.
Very disappointing.

Latest update broke it
Crashes when you now try to open the app. Better stick to other apps like Lastpass.
Insécurité !
Le mot de passe principal de la base est proposé par le système à l’ouverture, sans le connaître, on accède ainsi à tous les mots de passe. Malgré plusieurs tickets ce dysfonctionnement qui rend la sécurité vaine, n’est toujours pas réglé dans la version 5. Problème qui date de plus de deux ans. Je change donc d’application. A fuir !!!

Mostly good
After years of not maintaining the app, the recent upgrade was a welcome change. The flaws were long overdue to be fixed. Mostly reliable now for me, and the paid upgrade is worthwhile for a trustable vault not plastered with tiresome ads.
No mobile sync unless you pay & max 10 records to save.
As previous reviews stated. Do not update to DG v2 and macOS v4 unless you are willing to pay $10. There is no turning back.

How Utterly Sneaky!!!
I have used Data Guardian for years on my Macs. Paid to upgrade, told everyone how elated I am with it, etc. Then the IOS app came out. It was great - kept me from having to run back to my laptop to get passwords. There were a few glitches in the app over the years, but nothing to write home about.
Now that my Data Guardian MacOS app has been upgraded to version 4, mobile synching to my iPad has made the IOS app justy about useless ---- unless I upgrade it to PRO? Maybe $9.99 would be worth getting back my data - "almost" like ransomw-ware. BUT TO SNEAK IT IN ON US IS INEXCUSABLE! Not even a clue on the Koingo website OR the iTunes App Store.
If I update my IOS Data Guardian app to PRO, will it work? We shall see.

Bug avec cette mise à jour
Cette mise à jour ne reconnaît pas ma licence payée. J’ai maintenant des publicités. Et je ne peux plus ajouter du data. On m’exige de faire la mise à jour à la version Pro. J’ai donc payé cette version Pro sur mon iPhone et le problème demeure sur mon iPad. Pas question de payer 2 fois. Je demande le remboursement de cette version Pro. Je vais supprimer Data Guardian de mes 2 mobiles et de mon Mac Pro. Aussi je déplore qu’il n’y ait aucune référence de la version iOS sur le site de Koingo. 😩

Good Secure password database with desktop sync
Works well, easy to use. Not extremely versatile, but very functional for passwords and similar info.

I have synced this app across my laptop, iPad mini and iPod touch. Sitting in far away places and suddenly need to find passwords to access bank accounts, credit accounts, etc. great app.
Lack of Horizontal Rotation
Absence of horizontal rotation a problem when one uses a portable keyboard, like the Logitech. Database itself seems all right.
Lost password
I lost several passwords using this app. Not sure what's "the proper" way to close this app, but if it's done "incorrectly", last change will be lost.
