About

This iPad app allows users to plot and fit various types of data using curve fitting, value prediction, and kinetic analysis. Data can be imported or entered manually, with options for preprocessing before plotting and customization of graphs. It supports multiple fitting methods and can generate standard curves for unknowns.

Fixed bug related to migration to Version 4 data file format from all previous versions.

User reviews

Waste

I was happy to finally find an app to conduct data analysis . Unfortunately the app will not let me import .csv files only the app specified format . Very disappointing

It doesn’t do what it says

There is no option to import a csv file or to paste dada from the clipboard.

Paste from clipboard???

Seriously need to add an import function inside the app for CSV files at the very least. Forcing folks to use Dropbox or the mail app to take advantage of that functionality is ridiculous and takes away from what you can really do with the app....

Works as Described

The input and output are not very fancy but if you need a simple x-y plot, this is it. It produces a nice graph and will fit a polynomial line (via regression) of your choice together with relevant statistics.

My first use was to plot some blood sugar readings that I take daily. It did an excellent job.

Update:
I am giving it another star.

Really helpful!

This app is incredibly accurate with its results, clearly plots the points and shows the y-intercept, as well as the gradient. Overall, the app is really useful for plotting points and creating graphs! Would definitely recommend.

FAQ

What kind of data can this app analyze?

This app is designed for plotting and fitting all types of data that can be formulated as x, y pairs. This includes general scientific data, kinetic data, and enzyme kinetics. It can handle data entered directly, imported from text or CSV files, or pasted from the clipboard.

What are the key features for data analysis?

Key features include data preprocessing such as averaging, baseline correction, and normalization. Users can then plot the data with autoscaled axes and customize graph elements like titles and labels. The app offers various fitting methods, including non-linear regression to mathematical equations and non-parametric Lowess Regression.

How can I get my data into the app?

Data can be entered directly via the keyboard. Alternatively, you can import data from a text file (.txt) or a comma-separated value file (.csv). Data can also be conveniently pasted from your clipboard.

What are the output and export options?

The app allows you to export both graphics and text in various formats, including PDF, PNG, CSV, and TXT. These outputs can be copied, emailed, or uploaded to cloud storage services like iCloud, Dropbox, Box, and OneDrive. PDF graphics can be further edited in programs like Adobe Illustrator.

Is this app compatible with other devices?

This application is specifically designed as a general purpose iPad App. While it supports multitasking and printing on iPad, its primary functionality and interface are optimized for the iPad platform.
