It works pretty well
I like the app; it seems to work fine overall. However, I have a few nitpicks:
Data Shredding Method: I would appreciate a setting to change the data shredding method or at least to know which one is the default (e.g., DoD, NIST, Gutmann).
Cache Management: After using the app a few times, it takes up a lot of free space, and I have to reinstall it to clear the cache. A button to clear it in-app would be convenient.
Privacy Concerns: I'm confused about why an app for shredding data needs so many vendors and ad partners (142 TCF vendors, 68 ad partners), especially since it doesn’t seem to have ads. Additionally, the privacy settings could benefit from an option to only store necessary information for data destruction, or even a "decline all" button.
Other than these points, it’s a great app and the only shredder I can find on the app store.

Useless
It doesn’t do trim or slack space. It doesn’t overwrite all the free space, just what’s useable free space. I tried it with 3 gb of free space and it overwrites about 90% of it. If you check the developer website it’s about as amateur as this app.

Deleting the usable free space is the purpose of this app. We can't use low level disk functions unless using rooted phones. Isn't it amateurish to not know what you can and can't do?

Simple shredder
Reset old iPhone 12 512GB ready for giving away and ran this shredder. It took about 3.5 hours to shred 464GB free space. I can’t prove it really did what it should do but the phone got quite warm indicating it was being worked hard. The adverts are not intrusive at all. I would pay $2 for this app.
