Can’t even update it after downloading the game I try everything and it just says update fail
The novelty of a game is fun but..
This game is toxic towards free to play players. The more time you put into the game the less and less diamonds you get and you need diamonds to get new characters strong enough to handle the harder challenges. Before playing just know this game doesn’t give you enough rewards for the time and effort you put into it.

Like the title says it’s exceptionally exceptionally F2P unfriendly as you barely get any of the resources and resetting the shards to get shards for characters YOU DON’T HAVE is a waste of time AND the premium currency because it only gives you shards for characters you already have and then banners only last FOUR DAYS which is the most anti-player thing ever especially because you’d have to spend thousands of pounds to even get a CHANCE to get a new character and even then that’s like 0.01% even with the rate up so this is another soulless cash grab just like the HD version and I couldn’t recommend it any less

Glad it’s back, but disappointed your being a money hungry gacha unlike in the past. I want to actually feel awarded for my gameplay and progression.
Trash game unless you like DAL
TL;DR: They don’t compensate for lost data from original Spirit Pledge, gacha system is trash for f2p, you have stamina problems until around lvl 46, gameplay needlessly waste a lot of time because enemies are needlessly tankly/has a lot of hp.
0 compensation for spirit pledge players (they give 588 diamonds, only 3 pulls, pretty much zero).
It cost 1800 diamonds for 10 pulls, 100 pulls for pity, and pity on limited banners don’t carry onto the next. Crazy when you realize the amount of diamonds you get a month is as bad as Genshin’s.
You don’t have enough stamina to progress through story after day 3-5 of playing the game because you will be using most of it to farm shards. Weekends are worse because all stages of “daily instance” are open on Weekend so you’ll have to use 25 diamonds to refresh stamina.
(This problem is fixed in endgame)
Besides story, Gameplay is mid as well. It is a bit hard for most people and that’s just because the enemies you fight are tanky/has a lot of hp. It’s literally just wasting time needlessly.

Short beginner, run time, barely any rewards and events
Every banners last at least four days they’re coming up and it’s a barely enough rewards to get any of the characters events dont give out that much rewards
Date a live experience
I love the show i love the characters and now i can say i love the game. The chibis resemble the sprites which is rare and appreciated.
Should’ve been a JRPG like Persona 5 X.
I feel like DAL anime franchise should’ve deserved better if it was a JRPG type of game. It should’ve had the treatment like Persona 5 X and Honkai Star Rail has. Like there’s so many gacha and story games that are better than this one. And I LOVE Date A Live. But I feel like this game is not it for me. Like for example, it should’ve had something like the dating part of DAL should be like the Confidant system from Persona games.

Any Free to play benefits?
Unlike other gatcha games, Why does Date a Live games never give any free summons as a reward for joining the game? What about a pity system? Already this game is advertising misc options whilst not giving any room for free players to get stronger. I’m saying now, This game needs to be more free to play friendly. Additionally they need to give at least 1 guaranteed top class Spirit as a means of joining the game for the first time. Pretty greedy in my opinion honestly.

Hey, I am glad this game got brought back, even though some messes been made, I want this game to have a chance. Hope it gets updated and gets upgraded to the rebooted version, and well hope it doesn't come down. Giving it time hopefully. Hope this game will do great.

I can’t even get into a server
All the servers are full and have a registration limit for some reason and the only server available for me to play as a new player won’t even load because it has a sever login error I can’t play this game it’s that bad I wouldn’t even recommend trying unless they fix their servers
