Is this app no longer working, I bought it and now it refuses to work.
Phenomenal - Experience
I have pleasure to see David Bowie Is in Chicago at the MCA. The AR David Bowie Is app is very close to seeing again! I was searching to see if David Bowie Is happened to have new dates or was still touring, when I found a reference to the AR app. Wow! What a joy to find. Hoping still to have the exhibit go on tour again. I recommend to anyone that saw the original exhibit and wants a similar but different experience and to those hat did not have an opportunity to see the first tour.

Amazing Experience
Jolly great stuff folks. If you want to delve into this marvelous app depicting with sights and sounds, imagery and facts, all regarding Bowie, you won’t be disappointed. It’s like being immersed into Bowie space, floating around from flower to flower, taking a sip here, a bite there, nuggets of facts, all the while surrounded by his equally fantastical music and sometimes audio excerpts from interviews etc. Tapping on most things and then using a pinching gesture outwards on a photo or item enlarges things so you can read or view them in detail. There’s so much to explore, it’s well worth the quids!

The next best thing
… to being there. I was lucky enough to see the exhibition at the V&A in its last few days. This superb app allows you to “pick up” and inspect Bowie’s hand-written lyrics, watch video, interact with cards and much more. It has even been updated to include The Next Day and Blackstar on the studio album list. This is a wonderful app if you have a recent device and wireless headphones. If you enjoy Bowie’s work then don’t hesitate for a second and just click Buy :-)

Can’t keep the screen still
This would be an awesome APP if only I can keep the screen from moving. Then to keep moving phone around to maneuver the screen. Not to mention every time I go to the APP I have to go through the screen set up and each time I want to watch one of the segments, it needs to download

The Freakiest Show on your iPod Touch
The best App versions of the brilliant exhibit of one of the great performers David Bowie. It has a lot of what makes the show great and more as well as great Narration by Gary Oldman and has a lot of artifacts and objects from the Starman’s entire career. It also has Music Videos, Live Shows, Costumes, Interviews and Narrations from Bowie himself and more. It left me felling Under Pressure and I love it. Hope for more Updates and added stuff from The Bowie Archives.

Amazing!
Imagine our future generation learning about history using applications such as this one. I never made the actual exhibit, and had to hear my friends talk about how wonderful it was-but now I feel I was able to witness the experience and although in a different format-still amazing!
Needs accessibility options.
As a quadriplegic, disabled person, I unable to hold a device upright while driving my wheelchair around the room. It is challenging to pinch and zoom. I was expecting an alternate way to get around the virtual gallery.
The app, I feel, is a labor of love and almost levels the field of access for everyone. Looking forward to accessibility updates.
I was under the impression that purchasing this app would finally give me the access to the exhibition that I was an able to make.

Went to see Bowie Is at the Brooklyn Museum. If you weren’t able to attend the exhibition, this is a must app. I love this app

Even after he is gone, he lives on! This app is awesome! Such a great idea and a wonderful way for his legacy to continue. Amazing way for his fans to feel connected. Thank you creators, Iman and family, estate and the Man himself for this app. David Bowie rocks! ❤️

Excellent, but issues
Excellent content, unfortunately marred by some issues. 1st AR app bought, and very difficult, as a disabled person, to need to move the ipad around so much ... I'd thought there would also be some non-AR sections. If there could be options eg like the Leonardo app, that would be great ie book-form options included also, especially for the price.
I can't see how to open some documents, and Help doesn't work.
Huge internet disconnect message across the screen, which stays for ages, despite the app continuing to play; not able to see things properly.

One of the best virtual tour experiences ever. Brilliantly put together, and easy to navigate.
Let down by AR interface
Content is outstanding, of course, but please add a way of navigating it without the AR. The novelty subtracts more than it adds and all the pinching, zooming and panning gets frustrating. I just want to click on objects and have them fill my screen. As someone who saw the exhibition at both its first and last stops, I’m disappointed that the app so far is more trouble than it should be.

In all seriousness, he doesn’t get as much credit as he’s due for being a forerunner of online artist/fan engagement. This app does the great man credit, because somehow he still is.

This app really does the exhibit justice
Exploring this app has been so much fun. Having the chance to click around, look at things close up, and interact with the pieces is awesome!
