Exceptional app… until AI arrived

I have been absolutely blown away with this app since I first downloaded it when it became available, roughly around DR 117/18. It worked SO well, never crashed, never had issues. That is until AI features arrived. This is to be said for the desktop and iPad version of the app. The last 3 builds have been riddled with bugs, which make the editing process superbly painful and I really am losing faith in the software, due to the addition of AI features. The errors surfaced as soon as DR 19, 20 and 21 introduced the mass AI features set, and to be honest I hate to leave a bad review, but seriously guys you are ruining this software something silly!! PLEASE please sort these bugs out :(

pls update

app keeps crashing after a minute, i’ve done one video in 4k early in june everything was good, but now i can’t even edit some slide show

Currently bugged

Currently unable to render projects, regardless of render settings the app freezes. Had to transfer everything to my pc which was a pain. New issue never used to happen

Love it!

The only thing missing is the ability to open X-OCN footage… I wonder if they will give us the update soon since they just did for desktop DaVinci.

Great but crashes on my device

I have a 9th generation ipad and it crashes frequintly but i love it besides that

Unable to import media

Can’t use it, takes forever to any media to be uploaded… disappointed

still better than capcut

works great except no fusion page and some fx missing that are on pc

Colour Grading

Beautiful and easy to work on it.

Crashes extremely often, unusable

I was happy to see that there was an app version of this software after using desktop version but this is so buggy it crashes every 4 seconds when you try to use it. Unusable and really disappointing.

Goo goo ga ga

It’s great… but it it keeps closing the app for some reason

Doesn’t work on iPad.

It's fine on Mac, but on iPad it just does not work. It will crash every two minutes or so no matter what. Extremely frustrating as a student.

And show all labels and icons

Can you please add show all labels and icons for all tabs as it’s hard for me to navigate as a beginner

Photos not showing

When using the app you can’t even get your pictures without you having to manually put them into files folder.. like why can’t it just access my photos like all my other apps he’ll it’s a video and photo editing app for iPad and it’s well under my specs

One Glaring Issue

You cannot import videos / photos from the Apple Photos Gallery. So all the powerful editing options available remain completely useless with nothing to edit! Please do the simple things properly.

Ima KID not a old kid and this app be COOL

cooooool yep yeh yee yep coooooooooool

It has effects

You can make videos and send it to the fans

Very Laggy

I’ve been a DaVinci Resolve loyalist when it comes to their computer software, however, this app keeps crashing and lagging so much, I love DaVinci, so I hope they’re able to fix this :(

Too many app crashes after last update

Great app when it’s performing, but after last update I am experiencing the app having a crash when exporting/rendering any video, even at low resolutions. M4 ipad pro shouldn’t be chocking on this app with simple videos under 8 minutes in length.

I love editing on the Go.

This has been the best upgrade to my editing work flow

Insane

DaVinci resolve is the goat take a look and see the difference in ratings between apple’s software and blackmagic’s. And the fact it is free! The ultimate freemium ve software
