Dawindci Deluxe
I had the original version of this game years ago on my old 2nd generation touch. I played through it twice before the developers released their second build of the app, and at the time, I just didn't see any real reason to double dip. It was the 'old days' - I really thought that I would have access to the game I had already purchased for a good 5-10 years. And actually, I think that version might still be available in my purchase history. However, the iP5 I keep around with iOS 7 is loaded to the brim with games that I never want to loose. I also kind of forgot about this until today. It was in the list of 'games you might like' for another game that I recently got and about flipped my lid when I saw it went FREE a few weeks ago. Boy am I super glad to be playing this again. And on a (much) larger screen than the first time around (I can't believe we all use to play on 3.5" screens....).

Quite the coincidence: me finding this game again after years of not thinking about it and being able to snag it for free (not having a job because of what's happening around the world - like it is for a ton of others; money is tight right now.... so another big THANK YOU for dropping the price!)
If you're into arcade games, score chasers, racing the clock, mazes or puzzlers and don't have a problem controlling a hot air balloon with gusts of wind that appear by dragging your finger across the screen; this game is definitely worth checking out. And with 50 stages, 14 achievements and some fantastic graphics and physics, boasting a 5-8 hour gaming experience and most likely winding up with the desire to play through it again once you complete it, it'll keep you busy for a while.

Wonderful game - and great music!
Simply a beautiful, well-designed, and very relaxing game. I enjoy the slow pace and thoughtful puzzles, allowing you time to take in each of the gorgeous design elements. And I especially appreciate the mellow, soothing music throughout (I’m hopeful the soundtrack is made available separately).
Truly a tour-de-force of perfect design - combining fun gameplay, with a brain-twisting set of challenges. Kudos to the developers for making such a unique experience!

Love playing this game! My 5 year old loves changing the balloon skins and loves playing it too!
Playable
Dawindci Deluxe is a playable game that has unique ideas that aren't executed well. One main problem is the controls because they aren't responsive, especially when you are using the fan. The whirlwind idea is very cool and the gameplay is decent except for a few minor issues. This game could have been better if there were more branching paths to vary the gameplay.

A unique,and much loved game has been brought up to date.
I had the original game, and enjoyed it immensely. This is far more polished and fun.
There is more skill to it that is as first appreciated. No shoot to kill, no fighting time, just, with care, moving your hot air balloon through gentle, well crafted scenes, collecting starts, before getting to the finish line at each level.
The tricky bit is fighting gales, mountain thorns and other obstacles etc to get to your goals, without causing too many puncture wounds to your balloon. Other barriers come up as your skills progress.
