Excellent. Qiblih direction update forthcoming
Excellent. It’s great how the app offers context of the excerpts, including precise links to official source!
Edit: The developers updated the Qiblih direction calculation to use the more accurate Great Circle method.
Edit 2: The math appears right for determining the angle between the red pointer and the direction towards the Qiblih. However, the way the pointer moves as we turn is a bit confusing. Suggestion: Keep the arrow stationary, pointing up on the screen (could also be not shown), and allow the the compass to rotate with the same angle calculations used now.
Edit 3: ^ That’s been long resolved. It appears that the app may have reached end of life as the dates and quotations no longer update. It’s still excellent, just need to go to he library to see prior quotations instead of a new one being presented each day.
Edit 4: The dates and quotations are updating again.

A most Beautiful App
I have been using this app for a couple of years now, and I just wanted to thank the creator of this beautiful app! I use it as part of my daily routine, and it is just so beautiful and welcoming every time I open it. Tonight as I opened it up and was greeted by the beautiful mountains and clouds, I just really wanted to reach out to its creator to say thank you.!!

It doesn’t work
I swipe right, and nothing happens. Is there a trick to get it to work? I’m on the latest iOS.
Great app for daily meditations
Really enjoying the app! I would just suggest that there are two Writings per day. Every 12 hours it could update. That way we have a different Writing to read in the morning and evening. Thank you!!!
Spelling errors
The 1/28 & 1:29 devotions had misspelled words or extra letter in the shortened readings. Wanted to bring this to your attention. The 1/28 reading towards the end didn’t make a complete sentence at the end. Someone needs to look at these before putting on the app. Thank you for developing this app and I look forward to using it daily.

Qibli locator does not work
I live in the southern hemisphere (Australia). The Qibli locator points in the completely wrong direction - I suspect is caused by me living in the southern hemisphere.
Besides this one bug, it’s a great app.

Beautiful app
I just love this app. Beautifully presented, easy to use. Hope to see additional prayers in the future.
Well done to the developers. 🙏

Simple, beautiful and thoughtful
Love the simplicity, the greeting, the qiblih indicator and the 95 counter. The link of the rotating text to the source is great. Thank you!
Compass Needs to be Corrected
Beautiful design and I love this app, however, the compass points to the wrong direction in many instances. It only points north east which works in limited areas
Amazing
So wonderful for saying my obligatory prayer. Practically, it’s so helpful to know where to face, but then aesthetically I feel like the elegance of this app also puts me in a prayerful mood, which is super difficult when using a phone so I’m really impressed.
Great app! (One suggestion)
First off, love the app, very cool aesthetic and user-friendly UX/UI.
One feature suggestion: it would be nice to offer a comment or note function available for each of the daily writings to allow users to jot down their thoughts and reflections. Then, there would be a library or record of sorts to look back on said reflections.

Wow!
This is the most perfect app for Bahai's! And as a JY this keeps me reading the most interesting quotes inside an app with beautiful graphics all the time! I totally recommend
Love the app
I love all the different small details that just give it a good vibe. A great way for a reminder for my prayers every day. I love the custom features like the custom greeting and the daily writings are great because if I don’t have a book to read them it helps me a lot. The 95 allah’u’abhà counters are also really useful.

The best “daily readings” generator hands down!!
Most apps that pull quotes from the Baha’i writings for daily reading seem random, to the point that many will give a few sentences to read but not a complete thought or idea.
The developers at Dawn have found a way to no only supply us with a complete thought or concept each morning but also have those thoughts and concepts relate to the Baha’i month we are in 🤯
The list of other features is short and effective it’s a bit of a one stop shop for obligatory devotions Bahai’s are to give.
I have one question: the Qibla finder seems to simply point to the east, withers be an update where it finds the shortest distance to the Qibla wherever you are in the world and points in that direction?
Thank you for this gift.

A remarkable app and a symbol of what faith apps should be like!
I come across this app after looking to learn more about the Baha’i faith and look to explore my spiritual side and it’s just beautiful
It’s got everything you need from a compass for the Qiblih and the obligatory prayers in full with instructions, before you get to all that you will also be asked what your name is and what greeting you prefer before entering the app
It’s just one of the nicest apps I’ve ever used and it’s truly a joy to use and as someone with ADHD I struggle to focus on things that don’t grab my attention and this all really has made me able to focus on my studies and become closer to the side I want to find spiritually!
I hope others find this app and it gives them the same joy it’s given me.

Different writings for morning and evening
I really love this app and I’m a huge fan of its design and thoughtful execution down to the little details. I was wondering if you plan to update the app so that it shows two different writings each day — one for the morning reading and one for the evening.
