Excellent. Qiblih direction update forthcoming

Excellent. It’s great how the app offers context of the excerpts, including precise links to official source!

Edit: The developers updated the Qiblih direction calculation to use the more accurate Great Circle method.

Edit 2: The math appears right for determining the angle between the red pointer and the direction towards the Qiblih. However, the way the pointer moves as we turn is a bit confusing. Suggestion: Keep the arrow stationary, pointing up on the screen (could also be not shown), and allow the the compass to rotate with the same angle calculations used now.

Edit 3: ^ That’s been long resolved. It appears that the app may have reached end of life as the dates and quotations no longer update. It’s still excellent, just need to go to he library to see prior quotations instead of a new one being presented each day.

Edit 4: The dates and quotations are updating again.
