Macht Spaß, Gerne mehr Content
Ist ein super Spiel. Hat mich dazu bewegt alle Erfolge haben zu wollen. Nur sind irgendwann die Gebäude zu wenig und nicht Abwechslungsreich genug. Super finde ich die Zufälligen Ereignisse zwischendurch. Die Alptraum Karte im Endlos Modus ist ne richtige Herausforderung. Die Völker könnten noch eine größere Rolle spielen. Z.B. das Elfen bei den Piraten helfen oder oder. Danke für das Spiel

wonderful game, challenging progression
The game looks and plays incredibly well, there is plenty to do and it had me hooked from the beggining.
Unfortunately I think the progression is a tad too challenging for me personally. Ive beaten the first level on both availible dificulties (some are hidden behind unlocks) and as far as I can tell Ive earned all the achievements availible in those levels. Despite this however I havent earned enough of the in-game currency to actually progress past the first level.
update: reopened the game and all the unlocks have become availible to me

Amazing game great story quite enjoyed it

It’s fine
The gameplay isn’t particularly deep or interesting, but it’s not bad. It’s quite addictive, but that’s not necessarily a good thing.
Klare Empfehlung
Ich bin ein großer Fan von Townsfolk und habe mich sehr auf Dawnfolk gefreut. Habe die ersten 3 Story Teile geschafft und es macht definitiv Lust auf mehr. Erst war ich etwas enttäuscht , da man nicht so viele verschiedene Sachen bauen kann wie bei Townsfolk, ( vielleicht kommt dies ja noch in weiteren spielverlauf, aber die teils versteckten spielmechaniken , dass man mit der Pyramide die Wüste zu grünen, fruchtbaren Boden bekommt sind toll und somit ist es aktuell alles andere als langweilig. Den Preis finde ich absolut gerechtfertigt. Ich bin gespannt was es sonst noch alles zum entdecken gibt, auch dass man im Menü mit den erspielten Spielpunkten - weitere Menüpunkte freischalten kann ich toll und hält die Spannung oben 😁👍

Demo is fun, but could use more.
The demo itself provides around 15-20 minutes of gameplay, and instead of a hard blockout needing to purchase the game all the modes and levels are locked behind 999 cost “blue light” which you only get 80 for completing the first level.
The mechanics are simple and can feel frustrating at times and feel like there’s nothing you can do about the storms.(on hard atleast)
Overall great game with a cozy atmosphere and amazing sound design. Will buy in the future

Really impressive game for a solo developer!
Fun Game, Bugs to Address
First and foremost, the game is fun. The full story is a bit short, but each level offers something unique and fresh. Mini games are cumbersome on a touch screen. Some of them are impossible to get a perfect score with screen lag and the nature of slow touchscreen input. It’s clear the creator put a lot of thought and time into developing the game and that makes me feel the need to point out that there is a major bug with unlocking the full game on iOS. After completing the first few levels, and force quitting the game, the cost to unlock the next level goes from 999 before quitting the app, to a more reasonable 5-10 in game credits. By force quitting after completing the first few levels, I’m able to unlock the full game content at no cost. I would rate this higher once the bugs have been addressed.

Love it, just a few thoughts

Firstly, this is a wonderful city builder, its simple yet complex. dawnfolk strikes an amazing balance of ease-of-play and complexity of mechanics. it feels like a toned down 4x game, but dont mistake that for meaning its less good. It feels similar to games like civilization in that adjacent squares have effects on each-other, allowing for some interesting build variety. Resources are done very well in dawnfolk, nothing is overly complex yet it also doesn’t ever feel “free”. the mechanic of spending an increasing amount of light resource as well as needing to always have more saved just incase, create a great balance and need for resource management. There is a huge variety of upgrades and buildings to chose from as well as new and fun specialized areas depending on the scenario you play. I will not go into any more detail than that, play and have fun

I think it should be more clear that this free version of the game is a demo and not the full game, i got a few scenarios in before noticing a “buy game” prompt on the bottom of my screen. I am in full support of yall wanting to make your bank, all power to you, but it was slightly jarring to know i didnt have the full game, all ready 3 or 4 scenarios in, i will be purchasing it though
I did find a bug that i am scared may draw people away from the game/purchasing the game. After i had finished the first few scenarios, everything said it was 999 (whatever the resource is called to purchase levels and what not) and that is when i noticed the “buy the game” prompt. For a moment i thought it was a scummy way of tricking me and making me buy the game but i restarted it and it was fixed, just letting you know

Nice game. Controller function needs work
Overall, a nice game and with the money. It does not seem to recognize controller buttons, even though the directional pad or left joystick moves the cursor.

Ich habe dieses Spiel ca. 1 Stunde gespielt, Free-Version. Soweit ich es beurteilen kann, ein gutes Indie-Spiel.
Das Menu ist auf eine kreative Art gehalten und wenn man in die Story geht, dann wird Einem das Game ein wenig erklärt und recht früh in Ruhe gelassen- was hier auch gut so ist.
Es macht wirklich Spaß und es gibt eine Menge an Möglichkeiten, wie man das Spiel spielt bzw. sein Dorf aufbaut.
Man kann das Spiel bei jeder Gelegenheit spielen, selbst in nur kurzen Pausen z.B. bei 5 Minuten.
Verbesserung?
Ich bin noch am Anfang und deswegen kann dies natürlich falsch sein, aber ich persönlich würde mir wünschen, mehr Feinde zu integrieren. Ich liebe es auf Effizienz zu arbeiten, wenn nur wenige falsche Schritte zum bitteren Ende führen können. Zu Beginn (wie gesagt, nur 1 Spielstunde) gibt es kaum Gegner, die einen bedrohen.
Zudem ist es ein wenig.. heftig 8,99€ zu verlangen. Es wäre viel besser für einen Teilbereich weniger zahlen zu können und dann später für den vollständigen Bereich nochmal etwas zu zahlen.

Ein Spiel was man auf jeden Fall mal ausprobieren sollte, selbst bei nur 10 Minuten Spielzeit. Ich finde es gut, dass der Entwickler bzw. das Studio zudem die Free- Version eingebaut haben - denn das Spiel hat großes Potenzial. Ob man dafür später zahlen möchte, ist jedem selbst überlassen.
Ps: Wer bis hierhin gelesen hat sollte sich es herunterladen. Sonst wärst du nicht an diesem Punkt, oder? :)

Un petit jeu incroyable
J’ai adoré jouer à Dawnfolk. Je l’ai déjà terminé sur PC et je suis trop contente qu’il soit enfin sorti sur l’App Store. C’est un jeu incroyable et addictif ! J’ai hâte de replonger dedans et d’y rejouer pour chiller ✨🔥
