I was completing a quest but a photo I submitted was rejected. I reached out to customer support to inquire why that was the case and they quickly responded back to me. Compared to past reviews, I believe the app is much better and they plan to release another version soon!
Earning points and rewards
I have been using the app throughout the year and earning rewards based on the points accrued. Very happy with the reward program overall, and whenever I reach out to customer support with questions or concerns, I get help quickly. I have seen some bugs in the software mentioned by others, but they have never impeded me from earning rewards after bringing to developers’ attention. Would recommend if you want to earn rewards for sharing energy data!

Share your data, get Amazon giftcards!
This app offers a great incentive for sharing your energy data. After connecting my EV and Ecobee devices, I started earning points that can be redeemed for Amazon gift cards. So far, I’ve been able to get a $25 gift card every month. No other app is this generous!

Don't bother...
You'll do all the quests, and give them all kinds of sensitive information about yourself, but when it finally comes time to redeem a $25 Amazon gift cards? Sorry! All redemptions are blocked due to fraud.

Finally !!! energy rewards
Got my gift cards from finishing all the quests and referring my friends. Great app for everyone who is looking to save money on energy bills
Maybe not a scam, maybe yes glitchy, $ in the end.
It took me a couple months of being very frustrated with this app while my points accrued and my first task was blocked from being able to complete. They must have added some new staff recently, because I noticed last week my $30 DIMO bonus came through on the DIMO app for signing up for Daylight. Then I got several messages that my quest on Daylight would be unblocked. After reaching out, I finally did get my quest approved after several months, and a week after the DIMO. I had enough for two of the $25 gift cards. I was able to redeem two codes they gave me. Frustrating, but fair to change my review.

Promising new DePin concept!
Great idea that could be very profitable. Seems like Daylight is on the right path it’s a work in progress. Customer has always responded to my emails concerning the only issue I’ve encountered thus far. Well 2 issues I never received the offered 30$ of DIMO tokens and the 1000 daylight points for signing up through a DIMO link. 2nd issue is with the 25$ gift card when I went to redeem the code on Amazon I was unable to use the gift card because the code had already been used and the date Amazon said it was redeemed was 2 weeks before I received the E code. I’ve been in contact with support but both issues are still unresolved. Will update when I have a definitive answer on both issues. Really hope this project will succeed.

2400/2500 points
I earned 2400 points which is just below the required to 2500 to redeem any kind of reward. Suspiciously, now all of my tasks are being denied it’s almost like they don’t want me to reach 2500 points.
Update: I added a few stars since daylight eventually honored my rewards and I was able to withdraw

Good Idea, Terrible Execution
It’s a good idea what they are doing, but it’s executed terribly.
So far the app has had multiple bugs that have made it unusable for days at a time. They’ve blocked me from the energy quest because they didn’t like my breaker panel apparently 🤷♂️ They won’t let me complete the new heating quest because the app automatically says “can’t verify your photo, take a new one”.
It’s apparently all automated which makes it very annoying as there’s no explanation for why it decides to randomly reject things even though you follow the instructions to a T.

Updates don’t fix it
Can’t make a functioning app and we’re supposed to believe they can decentralize the energy grid, lol
Stuck on verify window
Please fix the app, I updated the app and when signing in, it prompts me to confirm my email. I entered my email, received the email to confirm, the email takes me to download the Daylight app. Once downloaded, I’m stuck on the confirm email screen in the app.
Poor support and buggy App
This is personal experience and other users may have different one. The idea is pretty good but the App execution is poor. You cannot redeem the point if you done have approved quest, I submitted the quest almost month a go and it is pending since then, contacted support via the email and it is been a week an no response. There is option to repeat the quest or notified them any other way.

Terrible app
No actual customer service, been waiting over a month to get a quote for solar panels. Messaged them on X & discord and they only reply with “ we are working on the app” it seems no actual issues are being resolved and they have no actual customer service support. Don’t trust this app at all. Adding I have invited so many people missing over 70k points and they won’t fix the issue. Very poor company.
