About
Meet Daylight: a calmer, clearer way to check the weather and plan your day.
See the details that matter, from hourly temperatures and wind to the chance of rain and how much is expected. Ask a question, explore the forecast, or capture your own view of the weather. Daylight is free, with no ads or subscription.
THE FORECAST, CLEARLY
Follow temperature trends with easy-to-read charts. Compare precipitation probability with expected rain and snowfall amounts. See wind, UV index, air quality, and estimated wet-bulb globe temperature alongside your daily forecast.
LOOK AHEAD
Explore a 16-day forecast and tap a day for its hourly details. Browse animated forecast maps for precipitation, temperature, and wind. Forecasts farther into the future are less certain.
ASK DAYLIGHT
Find a good time for a walk, decide what to wear, or ask how the weather could affect your plans. Optional calendar awareness helps Daylight consider the trips and outdoor activities you choose to share. AI answers may be inaccurate; use your judgment and check important details.
A USEFUL HEADS-UP
Choose morning briefings, rain and snow heads-ups, personal weather updates, and official U.S. weather alerts. Change your notification preferences whenever you like. Forecast timing and notification delivery are not guaranteed.
YOUR WEATHER, AT A GLANCE
Add Home Screen widgets for current conditions, the day ahead, or upcoming rain and snow. Choose a warm light theme, dark mode, or your device’s appearance.
SHARE YOUR KIND OF OUTSIDE
Take a photo or choose one from your library. Add a simple weather overlay with the Daylight signature, choose a post or Story format, and share it your way. You can hide the city or move the overlay.
ON YOUR TERMS
No account is required. Choose a city manually or allow location access. AI, calendar access, photos, and notifications are optional. Delete your chats and shared personal context in Settings.
Forecast maps show weather-model predictions, not live radar. Official alerts cover the United States; integrated road reports currently cover Colorado. Features depend on data availability. Daylight is not an emergency service. Estimated heat-stress information is not a medical assessment.
