Lost its purpose after update
I have purchased the bundle for the old functions for the most part if not entirely.
I am very disappointed that I lost my purchase in the process of you updating the App.

I’m sorry the redesign gave you the impression that your purchase and the original features were lost. They were not. As an owner of the previous version, you automatically receive “Veteran” status. This includes all features from the original app, plus the new design, widgets, reminders, Apple Watch app and complications, AR, Solar Compass, and Solar Map—all at no additional cost. Simply switch the app mode to ‘Astro Classic’ in the settings and you’ll see the same data as before. The app offered you this option when you first launched it after the update. Only the new weather-based forecast of the actual end of usable daylight requires a subscription. If the app is not recognizing your Veteran status, please contact me so I can help resolve it.

Was my favorite app.
This application went subscription only and there was no option to restore or grandfather in purchases for original users.
Now I have to find another application.

I’m delighted that you’ve been a happy user for so many years. I truly value everyone who purchased the original app, which is why all existing users automatically receive “Veteran” status. This gives you all the features of the original app at no additional cost, plus the modern design, widgets, reminders, Apple Watch app and complications, AR, Solar Compass, and Solar Map—all included in the price you originally paid. The only feature not included in Veteran mode is the new weather-based forecast of the actual end of usable daylight. You therefore do not need a subscription to continue using all the original features and many new ones. I believe this is a fair way to thank and support our long-standing users, so I’m sorry that this misunderstanding resulted in a one-star review. I hope you’ll reconsider your rating once you’ve had a chance to explore everything included in Veteran mode. Michal Kůs

Es freut mich sehr, dass DayLight.One Ihnen nicht nur bei der Fotografie, sondern auch bei Ihren avifaunistischen Kartierungen und Naturbeobachtungen hilfreich war. Seit Ihrer Rezension wurde DayLight.One komplett überarbeitet und modernisiert. Dabei war es mir wichtig, die App weiterhin klar, einfach und ohne unnötigen Ballast zu halten – genau das, was Sie damals so geschätzt haben. Ich würde mich sehr freuen, wenn Sie die aktuelle Version ausprobieren. Und falls sie Sie genauso überzeugt wie damals oder sogar noch mehr, würde ich mich sehr über eine Aktualisierung Ihrer Bewertung freuen. Vielen Dank für Ihre Unterstützung und die netten Worte!

Ich bin für jede Fehlermeldung dankbar – sie helfen mir dabei, die App weiter zu verbessern. Heute wurde das erste größere Update mit vielen Fehlerbehebungen veröffentlicht. Ich hoffe, dass die Probleme, die Sie angesprochen haben, damit behoben sind oder sich zumindest deutlich verbessert haben. Falls Sie bereits die frühere Version der App gekauft hatten, können Sie alle bisherigen Funktionen weiterhin ohne zusätzliches Abo nutzen. Das Plus-Abonnement schaltet ausschließlich neue Funktionen frei – alles, was die App früher konnte, steht Ihnen weiterhin zur Verfügung. Vielen Dank, dass Sie die App schon so lange nutzen und sich die Zeit genommen haben, Ihre Erfahrungen zu teilen. Auch Ihren Hinweis zu den detaillierten Zeitangaben habe ich aufgenommen und werde prüfen, wie sich das weiter verbessern lässt.
