Cute Journal App
This app has so many things that I love. It’s cutesy, integrates with calendar, and I can use it on my iphone and ipad. It would be great if I could import or make my own templates, stickers, and if there was a dark mode. Importing pictures needs scaling up because they pixelate when you expand them. And more pen/font options!

AMAZING but…
If anyone is considering installing DAYOL, I would highly recommend it, it’s such a cute and creative app,and really helps to keep me organised. However there is a con that you do need VIP for some features , but the app is also good without it .
Good app until VIP ruined it
I used to use this app a few years back and i was able to make as many journals as i wanted. Now, you need VIP to make more than ONE JOURNAL! You cant even watch an ad for a journal? It should be an ad for a journal, not VIP for a journal. Not everyone has enough money to be paying for a subscription.

It would be very helpful, if when writing in iPad you can just cross a word and delete it, like other apps in iPad.
this app is becoming unusable
yeah sure i get it, it has a lot of ads, even the journal itself. but like you have to buy subscription to add more journals is lowkey insane?? i really want to use this for journaling but i want to have different types, this makes me sad. i hope this gets better.
lost all my writing
i love this app its really crearive and cool but i wrote everything on it about my personal life and it just deleted it. I spent ages adding stuff and it said “synchronising” or something and my essay long writing dissapeared. Cool app overall tho

새해가 밝았습니다🥹 그런 김에 이제 5년 째 사용하고 있는 다욜 앱 리뷰를 써보려구요. 일단 저는 플래너 같은 것보다는 다이어리 용도로만 앱을 사용하고 있습니다. 근데 정말 구독제 전에 유료사용하고 있던 사람들한테는 구독제 없이 바로 사용할 수 있도록 해준게 진짜 감동이였구요 ㅠㅜ 다른 앱들이랑은 다르게 책 보관하는 것처럼 다이어리 형식으로 일기를 저장할 수 있는게 너무 참신하고 좋았어요 나만의 보물창고(?) 느낌이랄까… 제가 초등학생 때부터 이걸 썼는데 이제 고등학생이라는게 실감이 안나요 으악ㄱ 아무튼 그렇게 오래 써온만큼 이 일기가 정말 소중하고 이렇게 좋은 앱 만들어주신 개발자님 정말 감사합니다🥹 저번에 오류 난 적 있었는데 친절하게 알려주시고 고쳐주셔서 그것도 너무 감사했어요 진짜 복받으실겁니다❤️ 아 마지막으로 다욜이랑 토닥 캐릭터가 너무 귀여워요.. 그래서 토닥 체크리스트 앱도 깔았지 뭐에요☺️ 정말 캐릭터도 잘 만드신 것 같습니다,,,,, 이거 안 쓰시는 분들 후회할겁니다🥹💗

The app needs its own brushes
The app needs its own brushes bc the iPad brushes are limited and not that fun. And it needs more fonts. Not all the stickers are free. And the I cannot choose the papers’ colour many people prefer light yellow papers over white papers. Thank you for working you’re doing great.

2년째 다이어리와 일기장으로 너무 잘 사용하고 있는데 자가 사라졌어요ㅠㅠ 일정 적을 때 따로 적고 자로 형광펜 그어서 꾸미고 했었는데 자가 어디갔을까요ㅠㅠ
Deleted all of my journals
Despite backing it up to the cloud, all of my journals have been deleted and are unable to be recovered. As soon as the new update came out, they erased all of it. Uninstalling/reinstalling does not change this.

Dayol bother downloading this app. It’s incredibly slow & glitchy.
Firstly you can only register with Apple ID, then I couldn’t get past the registration page until I noticed a tiny check box you have to tick before it allows you to press continue.
It then said I have to sync the app to my phone for storage purposes? That’s where I drew the line & quit.
This is quite a privacy intrusive app & I immediately decided to delete it. I don’t know where the app creator is based but it doesn’t appear to be in the UK which is where I am. If you’re on iOS 26 like me & value the privacy of your data, steer clear from this app!

A pretty good journaling app!
I have had this app since late 2024 and it efficiently gets the job done. The numerous stickers are so cute and the text colors are so versatile, allowing me to add life to my diary entries.
However… more free stickers or stickers in general, individual formatting, and undo/redo buttons, not just for stickers but for any changes you make on the page, would be VERY nice.
Accidentally setting all of the text to a specific color or format after individually coloring and formatting certain parts of my entry can be really annoying and tedious.

귀여운데 UI가 불편해요ㅠㅠ
다이어리를 아기자기하게 만들 수 있고 속지도 여러 종류중에 선택할 수 있는 기능은 좋습니다! 다만 저는 아이패드 유전데 사용해보니 불편한 점이 꽤 많아서 개선 됐으면 좋겠어요ㅠㅠ 저는 패드에 블루투스 키보드를 연결해서 주로 쓰는데 키보드 입력란이 칸마다 바로 안뜨는 점.. 예를 들면 먼슬리 트래커에 좌측 입력란에 터치를 하면 바로바로 입력할 수 있었으면 좋겠는데 매번 글상자를 따로 만들어야 해서 번거로워요.. 마찬가지로 데일리 노트에서도 빈칸을 터치하면 바로 키보드 입력이 떴으면 좋겠구요. 그리고 입력란이 떠도 문제입니다. 기존에 하단에 있던 메뉴창 (뒤로가기, 앞으로 가기, 펜슬, 글상자, 스티커, 사진첨부, 레이어)이 있는데, 키보드 입력을 하면 폰트 설정이 또 제일 하단에 오면서 기존 메뉴창이랑 좀 겹치게 되면서 아주 불편해집니다.. 키보드 입력을 하더라도 기존 메뉴 이용에 간섭이 없어야 하는데 말이에요ㅠㅠ 메뉴창이랑 폰트창 둘 중 하나를 상단으로 올리던가, 좌측 우측으로 따로 배치하는 게 좋을 것 같아요. 그리고 삭제 버튼도 다이어리 삭제, 속지 삭제를 한번에 할 수 있도록 같은 메뉴에 두는 것이 아니라 따로 해야할 것 같아요. 지금은 익숙해졌지만 처음에 자꾸 헷갈려서 속지 삭제를 해야하는데 다이어리 삭제를 했거든요ㅠㅠ 다이어리 앱이 필요했는데 이런 uiux 편의성이 개선된다면 정말 잘 쓸 앱이라고 생각들어요!

Best App ever!
I’ve had this app for years now. I never write reviews, but this one deserves it. I love all its little features like stickers and drawings. It’s incredibly convenient. I’ve wrote hundreds of diary pages and other work as well. It’s cute but functional as well! I do have a question for developers that might be reading this: what happened to the autocorrect? It used to have it, but now it doesn’t. It’s not a big deal, but it would be nice to get it back. Thank you DAYOL! ❤️
