What's New in Days Monitor

3

May 4, 2026

Days Monitor's biggest update since launch. NEW FEATURES • Multi-Country Day Tracking. Cross a border midday and Days Monitor now logs each country separately for the same date, with its own pin, time, and city. Swipe through every country you visited on any given day. • Schengen Residency for Permit Holders. Hold a residence permit for a Schengen country? Set it once and your days at home are automatically excluded from your 90/180 allowance. Days in other Schengen countries still count. • Rebuild Travel History from Your Photos. Scan your photo library and Days Monitor recreates years of travel from GPS-tagged photos, processed entirely on your device. No uploads, no accounts. • Improved What If Trip Planner. Plan future trips and see exactly how they affect your Schengen compliance, projected to the date you actually return. ACCURACY IMPROVEMENTS • Croatia is now properly counted as a Schengen Area member. • The 90/180 calculation improvements, including EU residency exclusions. • Custom Travel Rules now count unique calendar days, never duplicates. • Filtered views always show your true full-history compliance, never just the current filter. EVERYWHERE ELSE • Home screen widget reliably reflects your signed-in account. • Custom rule notifications no longer stack into duplicates. • Restore from iCloud now refuses to overwrite local data when iCloud is empty or unreachable. • Strong per-account data isolation when multiple Apple IDs share one iCloud. • Many under-the-hood reliability improvements. Thank you for using Days Monitor.

Helpful!

I live between America and Portugal as a Brit. Substantial presence in America and 90/180 in Schengen are both things I need to pay attention to. Grateful to the developer of this app. Please build a good way to historically sync travel from before I installed!

Super helpful

If you are like me and don’t want to “over welcome your stay” if you know what I mean ;) Definitely one to download

Better than the web version

Yes this version is paid and the Schengen web one was free, but the global scope, background location tracking and custom rules was worth it alone.

Essential for Digital Nomads

I’ve been using this since the web version went live a few years ago and the new app is a great addition to the service. Essential for the modern day nomad - I use it to track my stays as I travel. Haven’t had any visa issues since using this.
