About

Know exactly how many days you can stay — in every country you travel to. DaysHere counts your travel days country by country and tells you how many you have left: visa-free stays, the Schengen 90/180 rule, the UK's 180 days per visit, and calendar-year caps such as 183 days. No spreadsheets, no guesswork, no account. SEE YOUR REMAINING DAYS AT A GLANCE Every country you track shows the days you have left and the last day you can stay, under the rule that applies there. The number updates the moment you log a trip. EVERY KIND OF STAY LIMIT, BUILT IN • Fixed stay per entry — up to N days each time you enter, e.g. 30, 60, 90 or 180 days per visit. • Rolling window — a limit inside a moving window, like Schengen's 90 days in any 180. Group several countries under one shared allowance. • Calendar year limit — a cap between Jan 1 and Dec 31, e.g. 183 days per year. • Custom rule — your own day limit and period, for a country that does something different. • No limit — for home and anywhere you have free movement, so those days are simply counted. RULES SUGGESTED FOR YOUR PASSPORT Add a country and DaysHere shows the rule it knows for your passport there — what it allows and where that comes from — for you to check before it becomes your rule. PLAN A TRIP BEFORE YOU BOOK Enter the dates you have in mind and DaysHere tells you whether the trip fits, and how much of your allowance would be left. NEVER LOSE A TRIP YOU FORGOT TO LOG Turn on background tracking and DaysHere checks which country you are in about once a day, even while the app is closed. Anything that does not match what you have recorded comes back as a question you can accept, reject or delete — nothing is added to your history until you save it. Only the country is kept, unless you also record your route, which stays on this device. The feature is off until you switch it on, and short trips can be missed. Continued use of GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life. ALERTS BEFORE THE DEADLINE Local reminders at 30, 14, 7, 3 and 1 days before your limit — and on the day itself. Turn each one on or off. ON YOUR HOME SCREEN A widget puts the number where you already look: the country you are in, the days you have left and the last day you can stay. It updates as your days count down, and on the Lock Screen it fits into a single circle or line. LOG TRIPS AND KEEP YOUR HISTORY Record entry and exit dates per country, including an ongoing stay with no exit date yet. Turn trips already in your calendar into stays with a tap. Review the whole history anytime, or take it with you as a CSV. A CALENDAR AND A GLOBE THAT MAKE IT OBVIOUS Stay days are color-coded by country on a month view, with your deadline day highlighted — and a globe replays your journeys, down to the route you took. YOUR TRAVEL HISTORY NEVER LEAVES YOUR PHONE No account, no cloud, no tracking, no ads. Your countries, stays and dates live on your device and nowhere else. Turning a location into a country name uses your iPhone's built-in geocoder; we never receive it, and we run no server of our own. Built for anyone splitting the year across borders — travelers, remote workers, digital nomads and anyone keeping an eye on how many days they spend in a country. DISCLAIMER DaysHere helps you count your travel days. It does not provide legal, immigration or tax advice, and a day count on its own does not decide your visa status or tax residency — those depend on rules that change and vary by nationality and circumstance. Always confirm with official government sources before you travel.

What's New in DaysHere

1.0.11

October 25, 2026

DaysHere now reads in your language, and the map can show the way you actually traveled — not just which countries you were in. Your language • The app is available in English, 日本語, Español, Português (Brasil), 한국어, 繁體中文, 简体中文, Deutsch and Français. • Choose it in Settings → Appearance → Language. The switch is instant, with no restart. The app stays in English until you pick another. • Country names, dates, permission prompts and the widget follow the language you choose. Your CSV and backups stay in English, so a file exported in one language restores in any other. Your route, in detail • Turn on "Record my travel route" in Settings and DaysHere keeps the places you pass through, not only the country you end the day in. Everything stays on this device; a full backup includes the route too. • Replay journey on the Travel Map has two modes: Detailed traces every recorded road and turn, and Countries joins one country to the next. • While a replay runs, the current position moves along the line and the distance counts up, with the date beside it. Flights climb into an arc and the dot follows it. • A day inside one city is followed on a street map, close in, so you can see which roads and neighborhoods the line went through. • Red on the map now means only "traveled", so the route stands out. Pause a replay to resume, start over or stop. Background tracking • Choosing "Always Allow" now actually turns background tracking on. It used to stay off because the second prompt came too early. • Setup ends with a page on background tracking, and Home offers it if it is off. Decline and it waits 14 days; after two declines it stops asking. • Settings is a tab again, and the Travel Map opens from the Home header.
