Keeps quitting!

After subscribing I’ve just gone back to the app and it keeps crashing. Needs update fast!

Slow...

Dazed & Confused is an amazing magazine. I bought a subscription to it in July last year and it allowed me to access all issues of the magazine, which is great. The app is beautiful and easy to navigate.

HOWEVER… after a few months of not using the app (and after noticing in my billing statement that I was still being charged for the subscription, which I had forgotten about) I tried reading the magazine again. This time it took like 10 minutes to open the last issue I had been reading. After I was able to move around in the app, I tried going into the latest issue. I was told that it was only available to subscribers, so I clicked the “Restore Existing” button and went through the process of restoring my account. I get a message that it has been restored, but then I get another popup saying “restore in progress”, which I have left to work for over 2 hours and still is not finished.

The app as it is is broken. Please fix it and give us back what we paid for an the quality of this excellent magazine!

Slow and blurry!

Please make this app speedier to load!

Someone should remind them what iPads are for

This is a bad example of a lazy tablet mag. Slow to load, nothing exclusive, and zero interactivity. Love the print but I'd expect more...

New issues?

Where's the May issue?

Takes a while to stream but is in an accessible format and free!

I love the fact that you can get your monthly dazed fix completely free - but it takes a long time to download. Once the whole thing has downloaded however it is easy to use and quite clear. Major con being that you have to download each new issue as a separate app..

Could be better

It is extremely slow!!!

It's a

Way to slow, would be quicker to go and buy a copy in the shop!

The full Mag is in there!

Just like the paper version, the quality of this edition is just amazing. Even the advertising looks sharp. This is a must download for every fashion aficionado.

I gave 4 stars since their is no interactivity. I'm certain it will come.

Even free stuff has to be good

It's great that it's free but it's a poor user experience... Slow loading pages make it clunky to use.

Your website on the iPhone seems to be a better experience (on first impressions, haven't tried audio or video content on there).

Time to crack the developer whip and release a much better app.

Back issues? But love the mag!

I love the magazine. But please don't make disappear back issues. Actually I won't mind to make a small payment.

I've been a fan of the mag fir a long time and I'm really happy to read on my iPad.

So my rating for the mag is 10 stars. For the functionality of the app is 3 stars.

Cheers.

Not very accessible

I love the magazine and was looking forward to having all of the fashion, culture and music news on my iPhone.
Unfortunately, this app does not do the magazine justice and it is not user friendly. The only way to navigate is to flick through every page, whilst each page takes an age to load. Other news apps are great, New York times being a favourite set up. Producers please work on this as would love to have the app working to it's potential!

Brillant Vibe

A excellent application, I keen reader of the magazine, now avaliable on the iPhone, Rankin is a inspirational photographer who's work is outstanding in concept and visual apperance. Overall this app is excellent at no cost, improvments could be made at page loading speeds, can't wait for the next issue to be realsed onto the iPhone.

Disappointed.

I have been eagerly awaiting the Dazed and Confused app, accessing monthly publications via the iphone and being in a position to discover further information via links and such like in a similar fashion to the Dazed Digital website. However, dazed have got this all completely wrong, actually so far wrong it's untrue. They've simply dumped the magazine issues (including all the adverts) into a slide show, consisting of poor navigation, annoying fonts that are very difficult to read even with zoom and infuriatingly above all the app loads remarkably slowly via 3G. I watch live television via 3G, how Dazed struggle with words and images to load is beyond me. They need to go back to the drawing board with this one, sorry. If anyone from dazed is reading this, please take the time to look at what leading news agencies have done, I understand you guys have attempted to transmit the essence and aesthetics of the publication into a condensed format, but it simply cannot function in that layout... you really need to re-evaluate this, please remember that if the content is good enough it will have as much an impact within a mandatory layout. I gave it two stars because it didn't cost a penny. Cheers, JdA.

Great but needs back issues!

This is a great app. Works perfectly and the design is very nice. Slick and intuitive. There is a small hiccup at times when pinching to zoom but that will hopefully get ironed out in future iterations.

Only thing I'd change: it desperately needs the ability to choose issues of the magazine. Perhaps they can be made available for a small price as an in-app purchase, say $.99. Then this app'd be perfect

Could do better...

Doesn't really grasp the point of the iPad really...

Thankyou!

One of the finest British publications on the iPad. Dazed you rock!
