About

Get the right dive score every time, without a regular calculator and without doing the math in your head. DD Dive Calculator works out a dive's total score from its degree of difficulty (DD) and the judges' awards, the same way it's calculated at a meet. Enter the DD, enter the scores, and the total appears as you type. The app knows which scores to throw out, so you never have to. Built for meet officials, table workers, volunteers, coaches, divers and parents who want fast, accurate scores on the pool deck. HOW IT WORKS 1. Enter the DD for the dive (for example 2.4) 2. Enter each judge's score 3. Read the total, which updates as you type 4. Tap AC to clear everything for the next dive EVERY PANEL SIZE - 2 judges: both scores × DD, with a note that the meet's final total is multiplied by 1.5 - 3 judges: all three scores × DD - 5 judges: high and low dropped, middle three × DD - 7 judges: two high and two low dropped, middle three × DD - 9 judges (NCAA): turn on the NCAA 9 switch; two high and two low dropped, middle five × 0.6 × DD SEE EXACTLY WHAT COUNTED Dropped scores are shown struck through, and the line under the total shows the math used, such as 25.0 × 3.5. If you've entered a number of scores that doesn't match a standard panel, the app tells you what's missing instead of showing a wrong total. FAST, ERROR-PROOF ENTRY - Entries advance to the next box automatically once complete - The .5 key adds a half point in one tap - Tap any box to jump straight to it and fix it - Hold delete to erase quickly - Only valid entries are accepted: DD from 1.0 to 4.9, scores from 0 to 10 in half points - Designed for one-handed use in portrait FOLLOWS THE RULEBOOKS Scoring follows the NCAA Swimming and Diving Rules (Rule 6), NFHS high school rules, and USA Diving / World Aquatics rules for springboard and platform diving. The scoring rules are always one tap away on the About screen. PRIVATE AND OFFLINE - Works fully offline, on the pool deck or anywhere else - No accounts, no ads, no analytics, no data collected - Supports light and dark mode Questions or suggestions? Contact us from the About screen. We'd love to hear from the diving community.
