Excellent collection of apps
Developer inattentive.
Work’s absolutely fine!
Disappointing
Sounds Great But Doesn’t Save Settings
Why don’t you they offer even basic install instructions?
Don’t work at all
Crashes A lot With GarageBand
Does the job
Great tool, but with one fatal glitch.
Great tool, wish it worked
The issue is that if you ever dare close your song file, any pre-sets or parameters you’ve set will be undone by the time you re-open your app. I’ve actually been using this for a little over a year now and never wrote a review because it was such a glaring issue that I’d have expected a fix to already be on the way, but it seems to have slipped under the radar, so hopefully this review will bring it to someone’s attention. Any exports I make with songs I’ve applied this tool to may as well have not had it on at all, which is a real shame because it means at some point when another De-esser option is made, it will likely obsolete this one entirely.
Works perfect!
This definitely works, but you can’t fix source with it!
I have other 4pockets plug-ins and they are all quality, so if I use another it’s got to be really exceptional in some way. You won’t go wrong using these ones, but I have a tip for anyone finding things don’t load - press and hold the button that gets you the ‘slide to off’, then press and hold the ‘home’ button until you get kicked out of your ipad or iphone, then just get back in and a lot of memory debris is cleared out, allowing Garageband etc to work where otherwise you have trouble loading plug-ins etc.
In older iOS, it was even better, you didn’t even get kicked out to re-enter the device (not restart), but iOS 13.6 has changed it slightly. Still seems to work - also, goes without saying, don’t have other apps running while using video or DAW stuff like GB. I only have ‘files’ open for obvious reasons (exporting/saving output of stereo pair mix and master files). I wouldn’t chance anything beyond that open simultaneously on my ipad pro 2. Your miles will vary.
Good app, don’t know of another De-esser that works thith well. Sorry. Everyone makes that joke.
A bit confused
Thank you-Ana
Excellent
Great
What am I supposed to do now
Imagine this would be great if I could actually get this to show up in garageband
Works great with GarageBand iOS 12.3.1

This can be loaded just like any other AUv3 in GarageBand. Press the 3 faders icon in the upper leftto slide in the Track Settings. Tap 'Plug Ins & EQ' then press 'Edit'. You are presented with a number of effect slots. Select an empty slot and a list of effects appears. Choose the Audio Unit Extensions tab and select DeEsserFX from the list. If you have problems using the effect checkout the Paul the MusicMan channel on YouTube.
