Excellent collection of apps
I have the vocal bundle and have used the De-esser component to clean up some recordings produced in the late 90’s. I’m very happy with results. 🫡👍🎶🙏
Developer inattentive.
This developer is impossible to get a hold of, and they have not shown any indication of plans to update some of their paywalled products, rendering them prone to obsolescence. I would recommend not purchasing from them, as it appears that all of your purchases will become useless and obsoleted once other app developers and Apple update their own products.

Work’s absolutely fine!
Those are complaining about this app not working properly, it’s absolutely ok and running smoothly, just be a you dont have the 5 minute to read the manual or the description, it isn’t the developers fault. Kindly show a little bit support to the devs. They are trying passionately and sincerely to support this iOS music platform. Regards.

Disappointing
Needs to be updated as it doesn’t work anymore.
Sounds Great But Doesn’t Save Settings
It would be 5 stars if the settings would be saved when I re open my daw. Every time I open my project I have to reset my settings on this app. Please update this issue and then I will give you the 5 stars that you deserve for a great sounding deesser!
Why don’t you they offer even basic install instructions?
I got this working once, after searching the web for an hour, and it was pretty good, but I can’t rate it if it’s unusable at this point. Add some instructions!
Don’t work at all
I want my $8.99 back (Edit) I still want my $8.99 back don’t trust these fools their app don’t work at all
Crashes A lot With GarageBand
Bought this a year or so ago, crashes a lot with GarageBand now I’m scrambling looking for a new De-Esser
Does the job
I have to reset the settings every time I open my project in GarageBand. It defaults to Female standard. I have to change it back every single time. Will upgrade to a 5 star if the problem is fixed.
Great tool, but with one fatal glitch.
Great de-esser. Unfortunately, every time I close my GarageBand song project, my settings are reset to default... which renders the whole thing nearly useless.
Great tool, wish it worked
To be honest, in theory what this app does is fantastic. The playback when I apply this De-easer gives me everything I want from it and it’s extremely intuitive to use, and then on top of that it even gives you additional tools aside from the base De-esser so you can fit more plugins into your track. It’s a ton of really great ideas!
The issue is that if you ever dare close your song file, any pre-sets or parameters you’ve set will be undone by the time you re-open your app. I’ve actually been using this for a little over a year now and never wrote a review because it was such a glaring issue that I’d have expected a fix to already be on the way, but it seems to have slipped under the radar, so hopefully this review will bring it to someone’s attention. Any exports I make with songs I’ve applied this tool to may as well have not had it on at all, which is a real shame because it means at some point when another De-esser option is made, it will likely obsolete this one entirely.

Works perfect!
The only issue I am having currently, is that for some reason, now the app won’t run on GarageBand IOS. It says that the app “isn’t downloaded on my computer” and I can’t use it until it is. Is this a bug?? Or do I have to literally sync this app with an Apple computer to run it on my phone? (iPhone 8+)

This definitely works, but you can’t fix source with it!
Sibilance it can help attenuate, and it definitely hits the spot there. Okay so if like me your vocals actually were recorded slow and easy and had a load of ‘shhh’ anyway, this will not fix that the best, but nothing could, that needs manually cutting or re-recording I think. It’s by using this in fact, I realised it was the audio source style of the vocals, not so much a glitch in the processing or over-emphasis of the sibilant bits.
I have other 4pockets plug-ins and they are all quality, so if I use another it’s got to be really exceptional in some way. You won’t go wrong using these ones, but I have a tip for anyone finding things don’t load - press and hold the button that gets you the ‘slide to off’, then press and hold the ‘home’ button until you get kicked out of your ipad or iphone, then just get back in and a lot of memory debris is cleared out, allowing Garageband etc to work where otherwise you have trouble loading plug-ins etc.
In older iOS, it was even better, you didn’t even get kicked out to re-enter the device (not restart), but iOS 13.6 has changed it slightly. Still seems to work - also, goes without saying, don’t have other apps running while using video or DAW stuff like GB. I only have ‘files’ open for obvious reasons (exporting/saving output of stereo pair mix and master files). I wouldn’t chance anything beyond that open simultaneously on my ipad pro 2. Your miles will vary.
Good app, don’t know of another De-esser that works thith well. Sorry. Everyone makes that joke.

A bit confused
I got the bundle of the 3. The problem I’m having is that they don’t work at all on any of the work I have already! So Of course I did everything from re downloading the plug ins and turned my phone off and back on and nothing. So I tested it one last thing. I recorded a test track just a few words and it worked like that! Can somebody please help me? Very frustrated.
Thank you-Ana

Excellent
Does what it says on the tin, was really easy to connect this plugin onto the GarageBand app too
Great
It’s just great
What am I supposed to do now
I installed two of the three in the vocal bundle and went on to garage band to use them and went onto the external unit extensions and they aren’t even available to use on GarageBand. Seriously?? I read the description over and over to make sure I would be able to use these on GarageBand. Now what?
Imagine this would be great if I could actually get this to show up in garageband
Imagine this would be great if I could actually get this to show up in garageband. Followed the app support link, which was of no help at all and Co lf not find any specific help or who to ask for support. Will be requesting a refund.
Works great with GarageBand iOS 12.3.1
Correction, I’m just dumb!
.....
I purchased the application and do not know how it works with garage band
Response from developer
This can be loaded just like any other AUv3 in GarageBand. Press the 3 faders icon in the upper leftto slide in the Track Settings. Tap 'Plug Ins & EQ' then press 'Edit'. You are presented with a number of effect slots. Select an empty slot and a list of effects appears. Choose the Audio Unit Extensions tab and select DeEsserFX from the list. If you have problems using the effect checkout the Paul the MusicMan channel on YouTube.
