What a shame

Update: I realise that you can increase the time between words (upto 60 seconds) but I feel this should be random not a set time to generate a word.

Just generates a random word every 7 seconds . Tried it several times, different locations. And always generating words, 5 to 10 seconds, more annoying than anything:( I still love you spirit shack! Just this app needs an update please! Higher threshold maybe, less frequent words.. LJ

Biggest load of rubbish I’ve ever bought. Literally says the same random words on a real doesn’t even say sentences.

I'm sorry you didn't like the app. It doesn't choose random word though, each word is linked to a different EMF meter reading. As spirits are able to manipulate EMF, which allows them to select words. That is the theory behind it.

Not bad for a random word generator

App needs fixing. There’s no way to get back to the main screen if you happen to click on history. Have to swipe the app off and start again.

Hmmmm

So this app, in my eyes is nothing more than mediocre. Random words pop up, no volume, that’s it ……. Sorry but for a fiver, treat yourself to a bag of chips instead. Much more enjoyable.

I'm sorry you didn't like the app. You can change the volume using the volume buttons on the side of your phone. We will be working on updating the app soon to make some improvements.

Needs work

This has potential to be an app for real work (not just entertainment), however some modifications are recommended.

1) Currently the word bank is slanted towards “scary” words like “grave”, “kill”, etc, which comes across as silly . Expand it so that it has more normal words.

Think of the average spiritualist medium channeling the dead - they don’t usually say things like “gauze shattered Jesus cellar”, they talk about normal things like “your grandfather says to apply for a new job”.

Also add more sounds to handle non-English names and perhaps some non-Christian religious words if they are not in the word bank already.

2) Remove the hiss - it’s annoying and seems only to be for effect.

3) Save all the words in the session in the history and allow it to be copy and pasted. It only saves a limited number currently.

4) If possible, add a feature to make it easy to voice record it even at low volumes or when the phone is muted.

These things would improve the app a lot.
