What's New in Decaud
1.4
September 4, 2026
- Shows your Mac's whole library over Wi-Fi, no iCloud needed: songs play from the Mac at home and can be downloaded to the iPhone, with progress on each row and honest status if a transfer stalls. - Adds CarPlay browsing and playback for songs Decaud can actually play from the iPhone or an attached USB-C or SD drive, with alphabetical ranges for long lists and a catalog that follows drives as they connect. - Filters Songs and Albums by location, quality, and favorites. Albums gains a Grid/List view menu; Songs gains sorting by title, artist, date added or year, with optional format labels. - Adds favorite artists, an Artists filter, a search field under every title, a fixed A to Z index, and calmer song rows that show formats only on request. - Makes Remote its own screen with an Exit, so the Mac's transport never sits under the phone's own player. - Keeps large libraries responsive: sync arrives in pages, lists load off the main thread, and a song that fails to start never plays under another name.
