OK but not great

The major problem, in my experience, is I never got a reading over 99 db. I am mechanical engineer and I have experience in environmental engineering; when you are at 99 and the sound gets louder, you expect the reading to increase.

Worst app

Do not bother to waste your money. I believe higher rating given to this app are fake.

To check legitimacy of the readings I enclosed my phone in a specially made enclosure with high NRC value insulations. But it always shows a wrong reading of 70~80db.
I tried to reset it few times but the result remained same.

I'm fairly sure that this app indicates dB, and not dB(A).

The 'A' weighting filter would show much lower levels in most situations.
