Handy!

I don’t play on my steam deck as much as I’d like.. (I have a gaming computer) but when I do, this app is so nice for seeing how well the games run on the steam deck. I feel like the one that comes with steam is decent but I feel it lacks transparency on how well it actually runs.. where the app tells you more detail on how it works. Plus the comments people post about how well it works or tweaks, is super helpful! Thanks for making this app!

Good start, rough around the edges

The basics are a good start, but there are some areas that need improvement. Some games from my library do not show up in the app. Hidden games o show up in the app. The wishlist doesn’t seem to update, it’s’ still doesn’t have changes I made yesterday. Pull to refresh doesn’t work on any screen that I could find. It doesn’t remember new sort settings, I have to change them back every time I run the app.

Thanks for the feedback 🙂 Wishlist sync is much more reliable now. v1.12 improves missing-game hints, persistent sorting, and soon pull-to-refresh. I’d really appreciate an updated review after it lands ❤️ Happy to chat more on Discord too so feel free to join

Headache start

I heard about this app due to a sponsorship on deckready and it took me well over two hours to get this sorted. I started this process hopeful and with very minimal pc literacy so that wasnt doing me any favors. But i kept at it, i learned a lot and i finally got it to work two hours later. The major hangup it being christmas eve and repeated failure of the steam app, it not letting me get an api key, and the security thinking im a scammer. Lets hope your install is a lot smoother.

Sorry setup was such a headache 😕 Steam’s API key flow can sometimes fail or trigger security checks outside my control. I’m adding clearer setup help and fallback tips. 👌 I hope you still enjoy the app, and if it’s working well for you now, I’d really appreciate an updated rating in the future ❤️

Solid

I really like the app. Very handy for one place to view my Steam wishlist, ProtonDB, and options for purchasing games. Good on the developer for coming up with this app! I also look the look of it - clean and pops with game pics.

Steam deck must have

Great app for the steam deck enthusiasts

It Does A lot

This app does slot of stuff that would’ve had me opening a bunch of tabs in Chrome and the Steam app to check everything. It’s awesome how it’s all at your fingertips now and easily seen at a glance from ratings of how it is on the Deck to prices and your wish list too.

Nice

It does what it says and it’s a nice companion app for deck gaming

Very much worth the money!

Grabbed this after seeing it on deckready channel. It’s pretty fleshed out already and seems to have a promising roadmap. Definitely worth the £5 and I’m looking forward to seeing how it evolves in the future. Good work buddy 😊👍🏻

Essential app organize Steam library!

Highly recommend! Very user friendly and intuitive with lots of tools to manage and filter your Steam Library!

👍👍👍

Very handy app

Saw this recommended on a YouTube vid, so thought I’d give it a look. It’s a really useful companion app to check Deck compatibility and recommended settings for games. It’s great for browsing your library and wishlist and planning what to play next.

A couple of handy features would be a button to mark games as completed so they don’t get recommended as “what to play next” etc. Also something related to control configs/community layouts would be awesome too.

Fantastic app overall though, it’s a great companion to the steam app and Deck.

Hey thank you so much for the review and feedback! Marking games as completed is a planned feature and will come later this year :) I will take a look into controller layouts but I guess that’s not something that’s available to grab outside of Steam. But Sometimes people on protonDB add layout recommendations.

Bought Because of YouTube

I needed a way to catalog and look up games on my Steam Deck library, and Gardiner Bryant talked about this app in one of his videos. I bought it a couple of days later. Can't wait to start tackling the backlog!

Love the idea!

I love the idea of of this as steam doesn’t offer a clean experience when looking at info on your games quickly. You have to go back and forth between library, scroll round up and down etc. this makes it easy and fun to use. The only thing I would ask for is more filter options for games in my library. Having an option to see which games support Linux, windows or apple would be great. As someone who wants to get into Linux I was hoping to use this app to see if I would be happy switching to Linux as a gamer. Other than that great work!

Hey thanks for the review! I did not think of that people are interested in Mac support for their games but yes I needed that for myself a few times too. If you filter games by the ProtonDB native tier that’s exactly Linux native games. And every game just works on Wndows :D

Great!

DeckFilter is a really nice way to explore a large library, and to surface forgotten games from your pile of shame. The developer is also super responsive and helpful!

Very very cool and needed app

Provides so much more information about my library as it relates to the steam deck and gaming in general. Very slick, great job thank you!!

Great App for Downsizing Backlog

This app beautifully integrates ProtonDB and HLTB, making this info available at a glance. If you have a massive steam library or wishlist, then the app will aid you to make play/purchase decisions. Would have loved to see functionality to search games on steam. Which isn’t on the roadmap currently. I was pretty happy to see the roadmap, as you can anticipate what to expect in the short-term future.

Would have given 5 stars if there was a search functionality.

Work

Cool

Awesome app

Bought this based on Jimmy’s video. It’s awesome. Even great for someone that doesn’t have a steam deck.

Wonderful app

This is a great app. I use it nearly daily and I’m looking forward to seeing how this app develops over the course of the next year or so.

Doesn’t work

Doesn’t work. Gets stuck at the API screen needing confirmation from the Steam mobile app which never happens. Wish there was a way to refund.
