Poor substitute for its deductible

The ai and lookup is not good. The ui once you get to something close is nearly unusable, you can’t scroll through a list it might show you a few of the many options. Finding options is frustrating.

Fast and easy to use

I was an early adopter and feel compelled to write an update to my original review. Rarely has an app shown such a rapid improvement in features and functionality for me. This app’s dev team clearly has paid attention to feedback and suggestions- just look at some of the reviews! Many of the low scores have had resolutions and features added to address the person’s feedback. I liked this app out of the gate, finding it easy to use. It continues to get better and better.

So far so good.

Have only used the web version this year. Not as integrated as ItsDeductable was. The TurboTax import was disappointing as it only transfers the charity name and amount. Have to cut and past the details from the pdf report so not worth paying for premier just to get the TurboTax import.

Not user friendly

Took a picture of an item (new, tags on it)- gave it a value of 0$. Does not keep a running list of items you added that you can edit. Not user friendly. It says it uses “Ai” but you can’t ask any questions or give it instructions - it just replies “I don’t recognize that item.”

Doesn’t work

This would be great if it ever worked. I upload a pic and it tells me there’s a connection issue every time

Hi — we're sorry about this! There was a major service outage on Monday outside of our control that caused AI request to take longer tan normal, sometimes leading to a timeout. It's been resolved and we made additional improvements on our end in 2.4.7 for better reliability Please give it another try and we think you'll have a much better experience. We'd love it if you'd consider updating your review!

Useless for Me

I’m doing some business deviations and in some cases I have hundreds of items. This forces you to click a + sign every time you want to increase the amount. That would mean I would have to click at 500 times for 500 items. There should be a way to just enter a number rather than having to click + over and over.

Thanks for the feedback — you're absolutely right. In version 2.4.1 this is fixed and you can tap the quantity and type any number directly. No more clicking + 500 times. If you get a chance to try the update, we'd appreciate if you'd update your review. And for the fastest way to reach us, there's a feedback button in the app that goes straight to our dev team — much quicker turnaround than App Store reviews.

Pointless for me

It didn’t calculate the value for any of the items I input and there doesn’t seem to be any way the edit an input even if it’s still in draft - not too impressed

Better than ItsDeductable

I was disappointed to find that itsdeductable is no longer available, but happened to find this app. It is much quicker and more efficient than ItsDeductable. Highly recommend!

Very good customer support

I was looking for a replacement for Intuit’s ItsDeductible, mainly to track charitable donations throughout the year and be able to print a summary of them for tax purposes. This app fits the bill for me. I’ve been very impressed by the excellent customer support. The developers reply quickly to questions and also to requests for new features. The app continues to improve rapidly. I believe it’s unrealistic to expect people to develop initially and continue to support an app for free. For those looking to replace It’sDeductible, this is a good choice.

Too expensive

Works well for AI parsing of donation receipts and tracking but only 5 receipts free. After that $4/month for a service you can get many other places for free. No thanks!

What a relief - an Its Deductible replacement that’s actually fun to use!

I was really bummed when I heard Intuit was shutting down ItsDeductible (again). This is better than a replacement and makes it easy to log donations on the fly by taking pictures of what I donated and then verifying the details. It’s actually kind of fun!

its horrible

it cant seem to count how many items i have or correctly estimate what the item itself is, and your entire donation disappears if the app reloads without you finalizing

Date update issue

I mistakenly entered a date in 2025. Tried to fix this and save for a date in 2024 and it will not update. WTH???
